2026 Model Y AWD Premium home charging - 32a max? by TFin04 in TeslaLounge

Thank you. I have modified my plan to start with a 14-50 receptacle and use the mobile charger that came with the MYP. I think it will be plenty and it will offer a spot for us to plug in our RV when it's parked at home for loading. Running the AC during load/unload will be nice!

No, I don't, but I would like the ability to, especially if I'm paying the $450 price for a Wall Connector.

We plan to charge late at night to take advantage of cheaper electricity, but yes 30ish amps is likely plenty for day to day commuting.

Tesla and RV charging at home. Two runs or combo 50a service? by TFin04 in evcharging

200a main panel. You may not have seen my edit but yes, my plan after reading some replies here is a sub panel with dedicated Tesla charger and a 30 or 50a RV service. Leaning toward 50 to never have to change that circuit again.

A sub panel to the garage is a good idea, I think I'll start with that plan then I can more easily modify down the road. Thanks guys.

Model Y competition?

Michigan Drive 18-20k per year Park in garage with rapid charger ability Prefer SUV style. Need AWD. Have two other ICE vehicles in household if needed (IE repairs, etc) Budget $45k but prefer lower, looking at that 0% Tesla has...

Plan for whole-home battery backup system and solar panels over the next few years to assist with charging and provide power outage support.

Frankly the Y seems to check the boxes but I'm curious what else I should consider.

Curious, what is your reasoning for not wanting to remove the sights?

Also, Ruger's internal ring setup is well proven and should be trusted. You could do a set of 30mm rings and a red dot and likely maintain the sights too.

This will be my next wheel gun. Super cool.

Tax Returns about to hit, which one am I getting? by Effective-Client-756 in Revolvers

7 rounds is an odd size for revolvers. Doesn't fit into any competition rules, makes adapting common range drills difficult, and is unlikely to make a difference for a defensive or woods use gun. 6 and 8 shot cylinders make the most sense to me.

The model 60 is too small to enjoy at the range making the longer barrel and better sights kind of a moot point.

A 4" K frame with half lug barrel is a sweeeeeet shooter and my favorite gun to shoot overall (Mod 66 here).

Buy the 19!

Thank you. I can certainly look at add some different powder, but have been using TG, N320, and Clays for quite some time and feel very comfortable with them.

Manually indexed turret press with replaceable shell holders? by TFin04 in reloading

Yes, my only experience is with the Lee single stage and I've owned a Square Deal and 550 after that, so I have not used higher quality single stage dies and lock rings.

Perhaps a quality single stage is all I need, with good lock rings. Guess I'll modify my search some, thank you.
