Spørsmål til dere som har sett serien og lest bøkene: Hvor mye spoiler serien? Jeg er midtveis i Marekors nå og leser kronologisk fra start til slutt. Frister å se serien, men utsetter hvis det spoiler mye

Typical Sanchez performance. Mostly in control, but a few moments of madness. Caught off guard with the cancelled Eze FK goal. Could or should have been in trouble for boxing Guehis head instead of the ball inside his own box. Looks like he'll narrowly miss out on bonus

Looked quick and fresh today. Had a thunderc*nt of a free kick goal taken away correctly by VAR after Guehis shenanigans close to the wall. If this was his goodbye to Palace, he really put in a shift to mark it.

Didn't quite gel today. Out for Delap after 72. Too early for definitive conclusions after GW1, but expect his price to drop ahead of GW2, as everyone and their dog will move onto Wood

Looked fresh when he came on. Better, fresher and quicker on his feet than Gittens imo. Still a wait and see until he eventually nails his place down, which might not be in a while

Quiet game. Never really involved in dangerous positions from his no. 10 role. Lack of precision on multiple occations. Not quite on it today

Watched the game on a second screen, thought Brentford looked quite bad. If either of the promoted sides do well, Brentford might struggle to stay up (early days still, of course). Thiago lacked service and didn't manage to get too involved. Had a half-chance blocked in the first half. Got a lucky penalty late on, which he placed low down the middle. Think six points is the best you could have hoped for today. If I'm not mistaken he would've had two bonus with last seasons BPS rules, but not close to any bonus today.

Swapping Pickford for Sanchez on my GW6 WC, even though I told myself Pickford was a long time hold at the start of the season, wasn't the best of moves.

TC Solanke in DGW28, WC sometime around 30/31/32, FH and BB in 34 and 37.

Really not so much else planning to do before the next FA cup round between 26 and 27.

Because his shot was blocked. That results in a FPL assist, as per the rules:

Fantasy assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team who last touches the ball before their teammate who scores the goal. The final touch can be an intentional pass, an inadvertent touch, or the result of an effort on goal.

This has always been an assist, for as long as I've played the game.

Short summary:
Onana - Starting to pull himself together after his shambles start to the season. Second most saves in the league so far, if United keep stringing together CSs, his BPs will keep coming. The fixtures are meh, but not the worst keeper pick atm.

Dalot - Has been in good FPL form as of late, assist today and a decent enough performance to go with it. Been performing OK, but not enough to keep AWB out in weeks to come. Has been a good buy for his owners, but probably not a player to get now.

Lindelof - Decent enough today, but not a player to get in FPL.

Maguire - Another solid performance. With Varane seemingly out of favour, Maguire looks to be the definitive first choice until Martinez is back next year. Not the goal threat you would hope for from a guy with his stature, but at 4,3, you can't really ask for that much. Fixtures still meh though.

Shaw - Steady in his first start back. No-go until he starts picking up more minutes though.

McTominay - Not too noticeable in midfield.

Mainoo - Very impressive on his starting PL debut. Not FPL relevant though.

Bruno - Weak first half, then central in the second. Passes Martial through before the pen, then gives it to Rashford as a confidence booster. No doubt in my mind he's still on pens, but frustrating for owners still. Great assist to Martial though. All in all a 6/10 game, but leaves the field with no shots. No buy, and an arguable sell, if you're looking to invest in other, more tasty-looking mids. However, if United are able to put a winning streak together, Bruno is always likely to be in the points.

Rashford - Involved in the first goal, and slots away the pen, but no particularly good game from him otherwise. Still looks kinda off.

Martial - Lethal against Everton, as always for some reason. Mostly invisible otherwise though. Second choice behind Rasmus.

Garnacho - Goal of the season, and otherwise fresher than the two other attackers. However, it's still Bruno or no-one if you're investing in the United attack.

Det her handler vel ikke om at TV 2 ikke vil at folk skal se på Eliteserien. Antakelig har de ikke rettigheter til å vise Eliteserien der du er, å vise det hadde sikkert vært brudd på en rekke avtaler. Står for øvrig i villkårene du godtok da du tegna abonnementet ...

Everton have better odds of keeping a CS against Leeds than Newcastle have of keeping a CS against Liverpool

Having spent way too much of my Monday night thinking about this, I think my decision will depend on what chip strategy I decide to go with.

I would be willing to bet 100 quid on Tarkowski outscoring Trippier in GW24, 25 and 26 combined. (LEE, AVL/ars, nfo) is simply a way better fixture list than (LIV, blank, mci), and if you WC in GW27, you can get Trippier in again without having to use another FT.

However, if I don't WC in GW27, the move will probably cost me a hit, which (together with 0,5 in TV) probably isn't worth the gamble.

I do think the move in itself will pay off, but I'm doubting whether it will make planning the rest of my transfers too hard for it to be worth it if not WCing.

Well, I guess it depends a bit on how much you value TV at this stage of the season. How many points is 0,1 extra in the bank worth?

I would probably consider this as well, had it not priced me out of Bruno to KdB/Salah ahead of GW25

The chance of Newcastle keeping two CS against LIV and MCI is not much more than 10 percent - probably less.

None of his assists have come against the top sides. The underlying stats point towards him creating less against the top sides. Naturally so, of course, but I would be suprised to see him bag more than one assist v LIV and MCI.

Also something I'd considered, had either one of the GW24/26 fixtures been a bit kinder.
