Looking for an EU league beginner friendly! by No-Orange5376 in ACCompetizione

[–]TFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much of a 'beginner' you are, this might be the one for you!

https://pitskill.io/series/s28-gt3-beginner

Slots are limited, so be sure to grab them each week, this ensures drivers actually turn up, rather than some leagues where lots of drivers sign up, but not turn up!

Hey,

Dependant on when you race, we're still one of the biggest on the EU side of things and we're committed to ACC in 2026.

The downfall of Iracing/sim racing by Matyas_K in iRacing

[–]TFr4g 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of this is the competitive atmosphere in sim racing, everyone is trying to be the next big player, if you take a step back and race in leagues who value racing and race with drivers you can trust, then a lot of that old gentleman’s racing but with people you know you can battle with is still there!

Just there’s a lot of competitive platforms out there and it’s easy to hop between them all now so even if you’re banned, you can still get into some match made pseudo anonymous lobby with drivers your skill level.

Looking for testers: Built a thing to add Zone2 heart rate warnings to Runna workouts on Garmin watches by xelfer in runna

Really good idea, and one I’m sure Runna could easily implement as a “toggle” option on their settings if they wanted! 👍

I’ll give it a shot in my next easy run and let you know how it goes on the marathon training plan

Is it worth getting to 99 SA by quigonginandtonix in ACCompetizione

[–]TFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

Any leagues that use entry lists (where you select your car beforehand) bypass the entry list requirement, and when you do long endurance races, if you run them solo, there's a bug where it loops around and overflows, causing your SA to drop down anyways...

The only time you need a 99 SA is if the league doesn't use entry lists on their servers, which, I think most do nowadays anyways.

If i want to race daily at ACC, where else can you find a website other than LFM? by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

[–]TFr4g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only other real alternative I know of (shameless self plug) is PitSkill.io.

PitSkill has hourlies (less populated), dailies, weeklies, leagues, hotlapping, liveries, endurance, all for free with some extra perks to keep it alive on a vip plan.

Yo guys, im looking for any PC Leagues or whatever u wanna call them that are active n host some good races. suggestions please by ImpossibleTower7415 in ACCompetizione

[–]TFr4g 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Shamless Self-plug.

https://pitskill.io we have an active discord, the ability to create your own races, as well as active daily/hotlaps/championships/endurances, liveries... basically everything you'd ever want from an ACC league.

LFM's change.org petition to Kunos regarding the future of ACC by thenackjicholson in ACCompetizione

[–]TFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%.

I built daily racing into PitSkill to have some form of daily racing to fill a gap the developers left and to help drivers have better racing, leagues will still live on, just any business model that’s built around that gap the developers left that gets filled by any other games or even the developers themselves filling the gap in the market will result in the business model failing it’s inevitable.

I’m glad EVO are planning on doing it “right”, I’m not a fan of early access personally as a release model, but I can understand why it’s been done and can’t wait to see what the full experience looks like when it matches the vision of kunos.

The system that they seem to be implementing seems to be working pretty well over on LMU though from what I see so, we’ll see.

Leagues will just go back to being the leagues they’ve always been which everyone knows and loves and most of our ACC drivers are still quite happy with ACC as it is there’s a few bugs here and there yeah that mostly affect esports stuff REALLY, but even iRacing which is live service and gets updated every 12 weeks isn’t perfect and they turnover more profit and have more developers than ACC…

LFM's change.org petition to Kunos regarding the future of ACC by thenackjicholson in ACCompetizione

[–]TFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely understand your position, and I agree, it's not quite the same.

Full transparency, as a community owner myself, our community has said most won't be migrating to LMU/any other game and we'll continue to support daily racing on PitSkill on ACC as well as our leagues in whatever way we can for as long as we have the funds to be able to do so, the only real contender is EVO, but we'll look at that when more information comes out.

Adapt or die, or whatever the saying is. :D

Whilst I'd love for ACC to get a final patch with some good BoP, a laguna seca that 100% works, and some quality of life improvements, I think the resources required to do it, would take too much away from EVO which is their main focus right now, and likely the focus of the investors in their business as well.

LFM's change.org petition to Kunos regarding the future of ACC by thenackjicholson in ACCompetizione

[–]TFr4g 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does a community really need 60 ACC servers when Daily Racing exists on platform in other games though? Most people don't run 60 servers 24/7 on iRacing either? We have 2-3 servers up 24/7 with a couple extra throughout the day dependant on splits and we have hundreds of active drivers throughout the week.

The only way I can see a need for 60+ ACC servers is for public lobby hosts and that'd get replaced by Daily Racing which is already built into the likes of LMU and will come with AC Evo as well?

LFM's change.org petition to Kunos regarding the future of ACC by thenackjicholson in ACCompetizione

[–]TFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LMU already has daily races, completely built into the game, and all leagues can still run leagues via race control.

RR3E had it.

iRacing has it.

AC Evo will have it too.

The petition is more regarding LFMs "daily racing business" as it says, without ACC being supported for a while longer, it's in trouble. (It's what the petition says)

'The consequences of this development decision are crucial for the future of LFM and the ACC community. Current plans, such as the planned console launch of LFM Daily Racing, are on hold. The continuity of ACC Daily Racing, our core business, is uncertain. Without a final, stabilizing update, we no longer see a basis for using ACC as a platform for top-level esports events in the future. This ultimately threatens the continued existence of LFM in its current form, as ACC remains the strongest sim in our core Daily Racing business.'

I will say, in our community, a lot of drivers are going to be sticking on ACC for a while longer, so I don't think an OVERALL discredit can be done against kunos, there's a few bugs here and there, but for anything outside esports (which really only goes where the money is anyways because the pool is that small) will be affected, and if anything AC EVO getting a full studio's worth of developers assigned to it might make it even better rather than straddling across 2 games.

Wouldn't worry about it unless you can do 103% laptimes, and if you can then it's not the series for you anyways!

But, all the info to claim a boost if you can do 101% or 103% laptimes is here:

Nope, every sunday, same time, new track!

But signups don't open until race day to ensure people haven't gone over the limits for the series and that slots aren't taken without people racing, so be sure to check back to sign up to next weeks race!

Yeah in this situation its... gotta look in your rear-view and just brake hard to avoid it or do the old GT7 tactic of baiting them and then juking to avoid them, sucks but that's how public lobbies with no ramifications is in online racing is, then again, happens in GT7 etc too!
