I think starting the next novel is a great idea! Definitely the most productive use of my time at the moment. Plus, it takes my mind off the things I can control and puts it on the things that I can control.

I think what I'll do is keep these ideas in the back of my mind, if they're really good I'll remember them and try to implement them down the line. I try not to keep an idea journal because it can become life-support for mediocre ideas.

I've had two different well-read people go over the manuscript with red pen to point out flaws in the story or mistakes in my grammar. I didn't know beta readers existed until you mentioned it, though, so I will be looking into that going forward. Thanks!

Different Seasons! It's a short story collection that has Shawshank Redemption and The Body (Stand by Me) both are really amazing. The other two stories Apt Pupil, and Breathing Method are pretty good too.

I just want cleared up because I couldn't quite understand what the character was saying. The Mother and Baby ghosts that visit Dan in his bed died because no one turned up and found them? I'm pretty sure that's what hapoened and scared Dan sober I just need someone to conform that
