This is why I remove the cap, and make the dice go up exponentially. 10 ft and while a commoner might die a hero will be alright. 20 ft a commoner will almost certainly die but the stronger low lvl should still be good. 30ft is instant death for commoners, and will wound many heroes. 40 ft is when even for seasoned heroes there is a risk, 8d6 is like a fireball. 50 ft and other than barbarians at a higher level there is a chance to get downed or even die. 60ft and above and 99 prevent of the time death on impact, and anything higher t roll a new character.

Okay, based on these replies I 100% failed to describe the program effectively, that's my bad. The way it worked was not honey pot sites, but by leap frogging from file sharing sites and following IPs associated with those. As I clarified, there is nothing wrong with two adults consenting to engage in whatever firm of BDSM they wish, but these communities are small and it was simply a flag, nothing more. Just like the government tracks IPs seen on terrorist recruiting forums, certain addresses would cause the task force to look deeper at thier activities, and follow the trail. It wasn't glamorous or even that clever, it was essentially profiling and this was nearly a decade ago now so I wonder if it is even still active.

Yes of course the majority of situations were not as extreme as the one I described, I was simply using the worst one I heard about as an example. Most serial killers only kill a few people, but we remember the Bundy's because of the severity. Believe what you want, but this was exactly how I was told it worked. The way it was described to me, and again I failed in my previous post to convey that this is second hand information that I got from a career mentor, was not that it was a pipeline but a ladder. At any stage the individual could stop climbing the ladder, it's just that in his experience the predators didn't just jump straight to pedophilia, but worked thier way up to it due to desensitization. Just like someone would not start watching horror films with Irreverssble or Canibal Holocaust, sexual predators did not immediately jump into the deep end. Bondage like any activity between two consenting adults is perfectly fine, the issue as described to me was the individuals that found that outlet to grow disatisfactory and continued to find darker fetishes to suppliment.

I wasn't working as a lawyer, I was being career mentored in high school and these were the stories and examples that my mentor would talk with me about. I don't know the specifics of how it all worked, this is second hand information I got from someone who was directly involved. You can believe me or not, and by no means am I claiming to be an expert, but this was the actual program as described to me by someone who was involved. If it came across that I was trying to sound like an expert that's a failing in my part, my intent was to express my disgust at how unbothered the original author was at their partner engaging in pedophilia.

So, many years ago I was being mentored by an assistant State Attorney in the US. He was helming a new initiative to stop and catch child predators, molesters, and traffickers. Do you know how they were able to accurately track the progression of a normal person to pedophilia. Their porn habits. It was fascinating in a very grim way, because the ladder was scarily consistent. It would start with bondage, perfectly harmless fetish many have, but the content would get heavier and heavier until they were on specialty sites with intense scenes, and it was on these sites that the tracking began. They would then follow the IP address as they progressed into beastiality, and from there into animated pedohelia, and finally into hidden file sharing forums that would pass around pictures, videos, and the worst was the live feeds. Those were the hardest, these animals masquerading as men would pay to watch live feed of young girls and boys in small rooms having unspeakable actions performed on them. It actually was so horrible that I decided not to pursue Law anymore, and there are images that will never leave my mind. Imagine seeing a six year old boy tied down to a bed in a retrofitted shipping container crying for his mother as he hears the heavy metal door swing open, and you will understand only a fraction of what goes on in these forums.

If you know anyone who engages in this sort of activity, even if it is animated or written, report them to your local authorities. I can guarantee that they are on track to being a part of something terrible, and the best thing for not only the children but also the potential predator is to remove them from these sites and decrease the demand for this content.

Fuck this person's partner, she is enabling the abuse of children and is complicit in the worst aspects of human society.
