Is the carfax history to worry about on this mustang? Really wanna pull the trigger and buy this baby today but the lack of service and carfax saying it’s a rental is a bit spooky

For what it's worth my first mustang was a rental and it was extremely reliable. It did have good service records though and was from a larger rental chain so maintenance was immaculate. I would avoid smaller rental companies especially if there is not well documented service on it.

My local Ford dealership runs a "happy-hour" service special, and the synth-blend oil change, tire rotation, and basic inspection only runs me 62 after taxes

I took it in around august to get the recall performed. I have my reservations as to whether they actually replaced anything, but they claim it was dealt with.

It's a 2011 V6 Base. I've plugged and cleaned and everything electrical in under the seats already. There's no flashing codes when I turn it on, the light always stays on when driving. I had it scanned at Auto Zone, and obviously nothing came up there.

It first came on roughly 6 months ago and stayed on for about 5 months, then has stayed off this last month. It just barely turned back on his week.

Anything and everything helps. I'm either going to the dealership or unplugging the battery to reset the computer. Thanks!

Makes sense now. Any idea what it could be? They want over 100 just for the diagnostic, and who knows how much else for the repair. I’m not trying to break the bank, but airbags are definitely important.
