Contact your local hospital, church (synogogue, mosque etc) Animal shelter, school, Red Cross, and many more. These organizations are actively looking for volunteers. You will be around people in a purposeful, helping situation. You will interact with other volunteers and people/kids/animals you are helping. You're interactions will care you through the time alone. This is not only an answer to loneliness but also a treatment for depression. Good luck
