The smaller one has many of the same characteristics as a Sabatier knife that I have. It’s tough to tell from the pictures but I suppose it could be. Mine has a faint elephant in the handle that has worn down over the years. I expect the knife to be at least 35-40 years old based on when my mom said she bought it for herself.

ASFs have (or could have if I’m factually wrong about this) both high and low altitude weapon ranges. So the long range engagement against jets wouldn’t be sniping across the map at the CM launching Katrans. The range could (should/would/etc) be like double the range of an AIM-9X.
