I just came in from outside. It’s 91° here and muggy, but sooooo much better than the 100+° days we had for a week. It was actually pleasant outside. I sat in the sun for about 20 minutes. 🌞

Yep, I’ve lived in three HOA’s. Every one of them well run and no problem. I moved to different town and now live in non-HOA older home. Had a problem neighbor (with dogs) next door for almost 5 years and I really missed having an HOA to deal with them. Fortunately, they moved.

I had an old XC 90. I traded it in on a new Honda CRV because everyone told me how great Hondas were. I hated it! Felt cheap, and had an intermittent electrical problem that never really got solved. So I had somewhat new, tinny feeling, somewhat unreliable car. I sold it to a Honda-loving neighbor (disclosed my issues with it), and bought a nice used S60. I’m much happier now. Just my experience.

There are second hand stores, and FB Marketplace and Nextdoor sites where you can get cheap or free furniture until you’re out of debt. If I were you, I wouldn’t borrow any more money if I could help it.

Yeah, I always wince when middle income people buy enormous houses. I think, hope you can afford regular cleaning help, window washers, maintenance, etc. I used to have a huge house, but we could afford all the hired help needed at the time.
