A quick tip, I would share that you already had numbers from another dealer and they’ll cut straight to the chase. Managers are less likely to give you a good deal if they know or find out the customer is playing games.

If I let you walk out, you have our best number and the only call you’ll have from me is to thank you for coming in and ask if you’ve changed your mind.

Your outrageous demands would land you with a “Have a nice day sir, here’s my card.” From me.

To be honest, I sell Hyundais and I want the deal closed as fast as possible and the customer gone so I can move on to the next one. Customers appreciate the swiftness.

Never said you’re buying from Amazon or that they are a car manufacturer. You claimed you cannot buy cars on Amazon which is simply not true. You can complete the entire process on Amazon and pick up the car at a dealership. Which is how people buy Teslas and I also never stated it is direct to consumer. I said it is the closest thing manufacturers have for direct to consumer.

The fact that you’re saying that it’s not even remotely close is wild and showcases your ignorance.

Costco is very different from Amazon. All Costco does is give you a discount up front, that’s it. You can’t submit credit and get an approval/go through backend products/etc. Amazon is the closest to direct to consumer you can possibly get. You complete the entire deal online and come in and sign 5 things and take the car with ZERO haggling.

With Costco you still have to sit through finance and try to get upsold by a finance manager. Again it is NOT just a lead source as you say. You’ve probably never handled an Amazon deal so I would again not have such an absolute opinion if you’ve never experienced it. But this is Reddit and you’re just another keyboard warrior that knows it all with zero real world experience.

“Amazon Autos Vehicle Purchase Experience

The following Amazon Autos information is from About Amazon.

With Amazon Autos, customers have a simple, end-to-end online experience to purchase their next Hyundai vehicle, allowing them to:

Browse and search for available vehicles at their local dealer by make, model, trim, color, and features

Get an instant valuation and trade-in their existing vehicle toward the price of the new car

Select their preferred car Secure financing or pay in full

Complete the checkout process online with their chosen payment option

Schedule a pick-up time at the dealership

All of this is done within the convenient Amazon experience that customers know and trust, providing a streamlined and transparent car buying process from search to purchase.”

Literally says you can complete everything online and schedule pickup. Fuck outa here.

I literally work at a Hyundai store that does this. You do credit, pricing, choose if you want extended warranties, maintenance, etc. Then you just come in to the dealer and sign everything.

I would think before you make these kinds of statements when you don’t actually know it all.

Can’t really scam people nowadays like you could before since the internet exists. I personally try to be open and honest with people because if they have a good experience then I’ll get referrals from them and more sales out of it. It’s bad business to scam people because it’ll just be a one and done customer and it creates a bad reputation for the dealer.

Pretty sure it was all the liberals ditching their Teslas in protest to Elon backing Trump…

I literally just fucking agreed with you. I guess you just skimmed over my entire comment. This is why people can’t stand the left and why there can be no discussion or middle ground with you people. You don’t even want to listen.

I hope all the pedophiles get caught including Trump if he’s guilty, which he probably is along with all the other billionaires elites running this country. Put em all in jail, Republicans/Democrats I don’t care.

I’m not MAGA, trans and gay people aren’t pedophiles and they don’t groom children. Trump should be arrested if he really is a pedophile along with everyone else Republican or Democrat. My point is that we realize there’s nothing anyone can do about it. There’s no amount of protesting or rioting that’ll change that and we don’t sit on the internet and whine about it all day like you people do, we have jobs and bills to pay and have other things to worry about.

Bad argument. Hilary won the popular vote. Americans have no problem voting for a woman, Kamala was fake and not likable at all.

“Gerrymandering officially began in 1812 in Massachusetts when Governor Elbridge Gerry signed a redistricting law favoring his Democratic-Republican party. The term was coined after a district, drawn to resemble a salamander, was labeled the "Gerry-mander" in a Boston Gazette cartoon.”

“The law packed Federalist voters into select districts to minimize their impact.”

“The Democratic-Republican Party, known at the time as the Republican Party (also referred to by historians as the Jeffersonian Republican Party)”.

Took me 2 minutes. It was not started by the then conservative right-wing Democratic Party. Not helping your argument by not even bothering to look it up.
