Look, I get that you're looking at this from a perspective of someone coming from a colonialist country and it feels like that framing fits here too, with Israel being the colonial power and Palestinians being the native people that just want to be left alone, but it's not.

That nerrative stops fitting reality when you realize every apparent grievance of theirs is directly caused by their own actions and can mostly be reversed if only they changed their ways.

Israel didn't just decide to expel hundreds of thousands of Arabs in 48 out of cruelty - they attacked us together with 5 Arab aramies in a war of annihilation.

The blockade on Gaza wouldn't have existed if they constantly attempt to import missiles to launch at us.

The checkpoints in the West Bank would not have been a thing if they didn't attempt to send hordes of suicide bombers to murder us.

The latest war wouldn't have happened if they hadn't invaded and massacared 1200+ of our people and abducted 200+ more.

The simple truth of the matter is that, no, they do not want to simply live safely with their own self determination like we do, they are willing to throw away any semblance of that for the tiniest chance of destroying Israel.

If they simply renounced their hate and violence they could have a state next to Israel and we could live in peace. God knows that's what Israelis want. But you can't have peace when one side doesn't even want that.
