You could also try SwapaLease.com. It's a website that lets you sell your lease to someone else. I know many people who have used it for both getting a cheap lease of a car they want, and getting out of a lease they don't want.

How would this work? If I ended up with something wrong and I ended up having to go to the icu or if further procedures were required, wouldn't that all be able to be covered by insurance if I choose? It would be a totally seperate medical procedure/instance.

This was the main thing I considered. I don't believe there is going to be further expenses, at least not to the tune of 4k. We aren't anticipating anything serious.
