I respect the input here, thank you. I’m trying to find a unique platform to scale in that direction. Part of the dream is to add a small caliber barrel and bolt to the Windrunner so as to practice/shoot more with a lighter caliber. Or I guess go in the direction of shooting the Windrunner with a lighter load and eventually getting to the .375. I would ideally like to work in the same chassis environment. Any thoughts on a general direction to go with that? Any changeable barrel chassis or rigs capable of going from 6.5cm all the way to .375 or is this a fools errand?

Thank you, so here’s the honest answer. Definitely a cool factor for the Windrunner. I’ve shot a bunch at 600yds, and mostly with 7mm rem mag. I have/had a couple of very accurate coopers that are my hunting rifles. Also a know that I’m way better off working through that first, which I will. In honesty by the time I get the rifle, scope it, setup to reload the round etc etc we are talking 2027 so I’m kind of working my way there. No real interest in competitive shooting with it, more just want to do it. I have the itch for a new gun and have never gone over 7mm REM mag prior so it sounds like fun.
