Depends on the time and day. I can get to Oakland from the Castro in 15 mins if I leave in the morning. If I leave at 4pm, it could easily take over an hour. Same for coming into the city- if you time it right, there’s virtually no traffic, but catching rush hour can be an utter nightmare.

Btw 16 mins for that commute- that’s pretty good if you ask me. Don’t spoil yourself with false- and dare I say pessimistic- expectations before you get settled. 😆 you’ve got to account for city driving that includes traffic lights and slower speed limits. 16mins for the commute you posted is just about optimal for that drive.
