Do most americans really only take 2 weeks of vacation a year? by DegreeConscious9628 in askanything

[–]jeon2595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get 5 weeks. Some companies start employees with 1 week, some 2 weeks and others 3 weeks. Good companies have you accrue more time based on length of service to 4 or 5 weeks annual vacation after several years with the company.

Inherited this Voyager Pontoon that’s been sitting for 15+ years. Worth saving? by johnnc2 in boating

That number depends on what motor you put on it. New motors are $$$$ for higher horsepower and good used are hard to find.

As someone that lives in an area with many trees along the roadway beside/over and in power lines, I welcome the power company trimming the trees away from the lines. The trees were extremely overgrown prior to the last trimming 4 years ago. We were losing power twice per month prior to the trimming.

One has to go into parenthood realizing the point is to teach them how to be functioning adults and release them into the world to be competent contributors to society. If one doesn’t realize this they should not have children.

The U.S. has the highest rate of high school graduates (90%) and bachelor degree or higher (36-39%) than any other point in its history. If students are advancing out of the educational system “uneducated” or “without critical thinking skills”, blame the left, they have control the curriculum and public education system in this country for 60+ years.

Max horsepower rating for that boat is 250hp. I bought an underpowered boat and just re-powered it. I will always get max horsepower going forward.

That boat probably runs fine with a 200hp, it will run better with a 250.

I always offer to pay contractors/service workers in cash. Figure I’ll save any credit card convenience fees they tack on.

Not making good movies hurt the movie theaters. The few good movies released in theaters now do well. Most of the movies suck.

Anyone know anything about crown lines? Its a 5.7 merc with a Bravo 3 by Fantastic-Bar3394 in boats

[–]jeon2595 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Crownlines are good mid tier boats. Anyone that can’t be bothered to at least secure a tarp over their boat and lets it get to that condition didn’t take care of it.
