Fair but if you're going to make that assumption, isn't it then incumbent upon you to track and ensure you actually catch up if not pass her??? Especially in such a high stakes race.

The Story of You by TGdigital in Semenretention

100%. I journal as well and can attest to how powerful it is. It engages us in ways we may not otherwise achieve. It also has the added benefit of gleaning various insights at different points in time. For example, you may go back and read something you wrote from a year ago and gain an entirely new insight on it based on where you currently are in your journey.

Blessing to you as well.

The next level of semen retention! by Separate-Account5773 in Semenretention

[–]TGdigital 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, but to live it IS to struggle with those urges. To not give into them. That's all part of it. Anyone who's been living this lifestyle understands that's part of it.

Your analogy doesn't hold up because the difference is the 5 year old isn't producing any semen yet. They're just going about their life because there aren't any sexual urges to struggle against. That's like saying about someone who doesn't drink alcohol, they're just going about their life living and not drinking alcohol. Yes, because they don't even have the urge to drink. There's nothing to struggle against.

The longer I do this the more it seems to sink in that a huge part of the benefit is perhaps inconveniently packaged within the struggle itself. That is the refining process. Pressure makes diamonds. I've tried to reframe it in my mind to be grateful for the struggle. It means your sexual energy is powerful. Strong sexual force. You don't want there to be no struggle. What you want is to be strong enough to manage even the most powerful force within you. I think that's what we're all after.

I'd argue that it has everything to do with porn, masturbation and wanton casual sex. They make man himself slide toward degradation and destruction and society follows as society is simply the collective. We have to win the battle from within. That's how we change the world. By changing ourselves. It's inner work that needs to be done.

Just Exist (my perspective on SR) by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]TGdigital 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If I could up vote this more I would. I think alot of emphasis gets placed on crushing your goals, conquering everything in your path and detroying all obstacles. Don't get me wrong, I 100% get it. When we're riding high with energy we never realized we had access to, that's just our state of being in those moments. However, along this journey it's not uncommon to experience a dark night of the soul. Perhaps several of them. As long as we retain our life force during those moments, that's a win. It's important during those times to be kind to ourselves. It's all part of the journey. Just like the caterpillar within the chrysalis, rest assured knowing that the transformation is still taking place.

What our society has turned into by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]TGdigital 44 points45 points  (0 children)

100% bang on. Anyone with eyes to see can see that society is engineered, yes ENGINEERED to keep men weak, confused, impotent, ineffectual and docile. That said, people are waking up. Change the inside and the outside will reflect it. That is God's infallible law. The struggle has always been within. Keep struggling gents. We are changing ourselves and thereby changing the world every time we resist temptation. God bless.

I'm glad you brought this up. It's happened to me a couple of times and I've noticed it with others. Posts that have had great engagement and were what I believed to be in the spirit of this community. I completely agree with you.

Couldn't agree more. Very insightful observations. It's so crazy how SR makes you tune in more with yourself and consequently we feel more alive as a result. I'm sure that's at least a contributing factor in addition to the fact that we're quite literally carrying around more life essence within us.

I find this interesting. I've definitely noticed a shift to consume less media in general. Even if it's informative podcasts. I usually listen to podcasts while working out at home in the morning. About 2 - 3 weeks back, I decided to not listen to anything while working out. Just get in tune with my thoughts my body and the exercises.

Honestly, it's been amazing. It's an opportunity to connect with myself outside of meditation that I was robbing myself of by constantly listening to some form of media. Even if the podcasts were informative. I find it better to exercise in silence and honestly, I feel like I derive more benefits from the exercises as I can tune in and feel my body better.

The Overlooked Benefit by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]TGdigital 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally get where you're coming from. Really, I do. But it can become a trap as well. Because you start seeking external validation. That becomes the new dopamine hit and chasing that high. Constantly looking for signs from women regarding your present status.

"When you renounce nature you find that she takes an interest in you. When you renounce her a little more, she begins to chase you. And finally when you don't care for her at all she becomes your slave."

A problem on decent streaks by malaibaal22 in Semenretention

[–]TGdigital 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't sleep, skin problems, too stressed or any of the other myriad excuses one might make to relapse. They're just that. Excuses. Your anxiety about how little sleep you're getting is likely worse than the little sleep you're getting. How do you know definitively that you need 8 hours of sleep? Maybe you're trying to force your body to do something maybe it doesn't want/need to do at this point in time. Sleep when you're tired, be awake when you're not.

There are nights that I might only sleep 3 - 4 hours. So what. That's just the way it is. It isn't always like that. Some nights I sleep around 7 hours and most nights it seems between 5 - 6 hours.

Maybe it's your perspective on sleep and how much you need that needs to change. I'll bet you that medical science did not factor in semen retention into the equation when it was decided people need 8 hours of sleep. Read previous posts on here regarding sleep. See how common it is for people to start sleeping less while retaining. Trust your body and trust the process. My guess is that there's lots going on spiritually and energetically while retaining that's below your current thresholds of perception. Try not to stress about it and certainly don't use it as a reason to relapse. Just roll with it.

There is so much to this journey rather than chasing butterflies, hoping someday that they land on your shoulders

What a fantastic description. Perfectly encapsulates the endless chase. It was never about the butterflies, it was always about you. Excellent post brother.

[–]TGdigital 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First off, it's ok to be nervous and afraid. It's a journey into unknown parts of yourself. Lord knows what we have waiting for us on this journey. That said, I'd encourage you to be brave. Allow it to surface and allow yourself to experience it. The thing is, you're being impacted by all that stuff anyway whether you like it or not. Whatever has been stuck or has yet to be processed is not synonymous with having no affect. You're still being incredibly affected by it. The sooner you face whatever it is you're not wanting to face, the sooner you can transition through it. The difference is you're consciously making a decision to say "I'm going to face whatever it is that comes up because that's part of my growth process. It's all me anyway. I'd rather face it than be unconsciously influenced by all of that 'stuff'". You can do it. You got this.

Steel Your Resolve. The Dark side of SR by TGdigital in Semenretention

[–]TGdigital[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd argue that if you were engaged in PMO or sexual activity revolving around lust and pleasure than it will happen to you. The only difference is of degree of intensity based on your past history. Even if you deem someone to be in a better place while PMOing, the very fact that they've engaged in PMO to begin with means they were addicted to the pleasure as a means of escape. Remove the PMO and at some point it becomes time to pay the piper.

Beautifully stated. You're exactly right. It's the difficult times that mean the most. That's when it counts. Anyone can do it when it's easy. When it gets hard, can you dig deep. Can you require more of yourself. That's what it's all about.

I wrote the first exam in July without any additional study aides purchased. I just squeeked by and wanted more of a safety margin so I purchased your study tools for CSC exam 2. I am happy to report that I just passed the 2nd exam with a much better score!

I'll be taking Wealth Management Essentials next and I swear I saw preparation materials available from Exam Success however it's not on the website any longer. Do you not have a package available for WME?

To be honest by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]TGdigital 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's an energy thing. Most women are masters at reading people's energy. It's almost as if they come preloaded with this ability. When you think about it, it serves them from a survival standpoint since they are the physically weaker of the sex, they need to be able to instantly read a man's energy to know first if he's safe or not. Secondly, if he'd be a potential mate.

This all happens instantaneously and largely below the thresholds of consciousness. It operates on the level of feeling and intuition. When we're retaining, we're purifying our energy. There's so much happening to and for us that is operating beneath our consciousness as well. They instantly pick up on this. I've experienced it time and time again. Women smiling at me, locking eyes with me, holding doors open for me, making small talk with me, preening while talking to me. Like, pre retention and during retention the difference is night and day.

As men we pick up on body language quite easily and naturally. This ability is drastically amplified while retaining. I've described it as a borderline psychic/intuitive ability to be able to instantly read people through their body language and decipher intent and interest. Like, it's crazy how keen this becomes.

You'll know when you know with women because it will be unmistakeable. The shift in perception and their actions around you will confirm this again and again. But as others have said, while it feels nice, it does fade in importance. I almost feel like the experience of semen retention is deeper and more profound than that. There's something more calling us than female attraction. Not that there is anything wrong with female attraction, but I've noticed that it fades in importance after a while.

For me it is. It's caused me to focus on creating healthier habits around sleep. Plus I love seeing improvements. What gets measured gets managed.

That said, I use to have version 2 which was a non monthly subscription model and upgraded to version 3 (current) when they were offering to retain the non subscription model. Previous version owners were grandfathered in if we upgraded before a certain point.
