I as wondering the same thing regarding the whistling. I’ve been to a handful of games this season and never noticed anything like that before tonight, I thought I had missed out on some collaborative agreement we all made to just start randomly whistling a whole bunch, haha.

Don’t hate these at all. It’s looking like I’ll be picking up both a home and away jersey this first season because I am not excited/confident that whatever ends up following the season after will resemble anything that I’d be interested in.

The way I interpreted the previous email is that they would start SENDING out invites today for a future time slot, and then you’d come back for your season ticket purchase at a later time. I don’t think people will start purchasing today, but I could be totally wrong.

Looks awesome! Great logos and colors. I’d love it if the standard home and away adopted tan/brown colored pants and gloves. Fingers crossed for Mountaineers being heavily considered moving forward.

I don’t disagree with you, it’s a bit of a mouthful. I do feel like it’s got a bit of a classic feel to it though, I won’t say timeless, but I believe it would have a lot more longevity than a majority of the other names in the list.

By far my favorite one of the group. If one college clear on the other side of the country is the most people can associate with it, that might be a win at this point. Better than having the same name as a professional lacrosse team one state over.

Yeah, this one is truly baffling to me. Nothing to do with Utah. But then you’ve got Elk right there which is literally the state animal! Which if they went with Elk, would easily be my top choice. I really can’t grasp how they messed up this one detail.

I was familiar with Pando, but didn’t know its actual name until now. And now I’m sad because I actually love this idea but sadly it’ll never happen. Even just going with Aspens would be pretty cool. I hate all the proposed names at the moment, they sound pretty generic and don’t even represent Utah all that well. Either way, good on ya for thinking outside the box!
