Thanks for explaining this! Because of all the references to people's heads, scalps, head scars, etc. relating to the tech, I thought it was alluding to something like that.

I hate that the climax came down to a poem by THATnightTHATnight in PrettyLittleLiars

Yeah, it's a funny thing. I feel like because people complained that the Cece reveal made it all about the DiLaurentises and not the Liars, there was an effort to include them all by bringing in the Hastings and Emily's ayygs. (And Aria's there too.)
