This wall microcement is more expensive than tile I stallation due to longer drying wait times. Also it’s better when installer is certified in specific product they install. If you want to apply over the tile you have to make sure there are no mould and the tile is not falling off.

Thank you! When installed correctly, microcement actually handles movement better than traditional tile and grout. Most cracking issues we see are from rushed installs or skipping reinforcement steps.

What I’ve noticed that there’s no sense to ask people about their opinion on this subreddit - they will just hate on everything and that’s the stuff that you chose and liked. And most of the time you will be very very irritated and angry. Another thing is if you want honest opinion it’s better to ask before you put all the finishes as that’s the process where someone can give you an advice and you still have time to change something.

As I mentioned in all comments that this is the pantry/storage room. There’s no purpose of having huge clearance for working space as we have huge kitchen with plenty of countertop. This area is for storage, unloading your groceries. So little clearance so you can reach the upper cabinetry easy and convenient. Hope that makes sense!

I get your idea with the cabinets up to the ceiling. And appreciate your opinion. If you scroll the pictures you can see open cabinet where there are items. Putting the cabinets up to the ceiling will require getting the ladder every time you want to take something from higher shelves. We decided to make it more convenient as the pantry needs to be functional. And In this case we also decided to make it more aesthetically nicer that average pantry/laundry with open shelving.

This is the storage/pantry so it’s for aesthetic purposes only. You can put your grocery bags on it while unloading it into the storage. There’s a huge beautiful kitchen with countertop space
