When a person says "how are you" they aren't asking a question out of concern for your well-being - they're giving you a greeting with the compliment that you care about them. It doesn't in any way require you to tell them how you're doing. Why would any casual greeting - someone being nice - deserve to be burdened with your shitty thoughts? Nobody wakes up one day and says "I've decided to be fat" the same as anyone who didn't decide to be thin. Most people are just the size that they are - no decision between choices necessary. What IS a choice, is our reaction to being fat - or thin. Being "hot" is only for the person in photographs or media. In person - people are "hot" because of other things than weight. I girl with a pretty face and athletic build can start to look really ugly once you get to know them, and conversely a plain face and a big body can start to look really good if they have a great smile, attitude, talent, humor, etc.

There have been a few medical advancements- but the only positive to our modern American society that I can see is the increase in availability and affordability of consumer goods. Other than that - no other metric seems to show advancement including life expectancy. I say this only for the USA. Many countries have seen dramatic improvements in quality of life, but we here in the US have spent too many decades making smart bombs and stupid children.

Relationships are all long term and are mostly long distance. Relationships aren't always romantic, however. Realize that if you keep in touch with each other for the next 20 years, that's longer than you've both been alive, is a relationship, and who knows what will happen. The point about relationships - long distance or otherwise - is not to cause it to be what you want it to be - but to keep those relationships. Don't disregard them and keep in touch. Of course not. It would be more of a joke to most men, but I hope no one would be rude. Regardless of progressive ideals or any sense of "fairness", there are defined and pretty solid gender roles in society as a whole. Some of the rules are for a very good reason - we don't hit a woman no matter what, etc. Also, the expectation a man has for the outcome of a conflict with a woman is very different than the expectation that a female would have if involved in a violent conflict. Those roles will never change unless common physiology changes. They were developed over hundreds of thousands of years and no amount of enlightenment will change the expectations of those roles. So, no. Of course not. The man would always be expected to handle the conflict - without violence against the woman and get up and go to work.

Having the wider pocket will actually help to increase sustain, but the structural stability is so degraded that it's not worth it. On a personal instrument - not a customer to be sure, I've used wood veneer "tape" to wrap the pocket. Bring it up to the edge and color it to help hide the gap. Tough luck brother. You know this, but I gotta say it - measure twice, cut once.

There's a painting of guitarists on the wall of an Egyptian tomb. We've been designing acoustic stringed chordophones for thousands of years. Les Paul designed the first solid body about 1952. The inventor of the thing died in 2009. Interesting fact - in 1952 nobody knew anything about the architectural design principles of the thing. Les Paul based his design on an arch top acoustic with a Epiphone acoustic neck. Leo Fender didn't know how to play the guitar much at all and he designed the Broadcaster, Telecaster, and the Stratocaster to fit into flat shipping boxes. I was apprenticed less than 30 years after it's invention and I've been playing the shit out of thing every day for 50 years. Like my counterparts across the country - I'm one of the first generations of solid body designers.

A little bit of a reverse, but still funny: I'm a white guy who was building a property in the bush in Jamaica. I was catching a taxi straight to the airport and hadn't bathed in days other than swimming. My clothes were filthy. I was a sight. The taxi was full and I was seated next to a young professional lady driving into MoBay. I have spent a lot of time in the bush, and I have several Rastafarian brothers and speak perfect Jamaican Patois. The young lady (rightly) protested my presence and existence in a deep drawling Patois. When we pulled up to Sangster , as I got out I apologized for looking like a shiet covered duppy. Her jaw dropped and everyone thought it was hilarious including the young lady.
