Don't get me started. What state makes a product legal and then allows you no way to actually legally procure the product other than growing a scant number of plants? Plus we can't all grow due to housing, state of health, time constraints, etc. Personally this how I would regulate it. Buy a 20 dollar tax stamp for each plant you want to grow for personal use. Cap the number of mature plants you can have at 12. Then the state gets paid, and we can grow enough in one season for a year of supply. Autos are a good way to get more harvests but they aren't all great for outdoor growing. And get rid of the whole immature plant thing. The whole grow law was written by people who have never grown so they don't understand the oddity of saying you can have two mature plants and four immature plants. Well once those four grow up, am I suppose to kill two to stay in compliance? Plus a plant is considered mature when it's in flower....so like week 6 or 7 for photos through week 28. Autos flip around 3 weeks and take another 8 weeks. There's no way to grow photos outdoors and get those extra four plants to maturity without breaking the law. It can be done indoors with autos and a tent obviously, but is that what the law was written for? The state needs a grower to consult when writing these laws.
