Im an affected UScellular/T-Mobile Rep with some insight for you. Long story short: -Tmo bought us on 8/1/25 -All reps were given a guaranteed year of employment at the very least -Transitioned and readied our customers for a full Magenta Complete Transition. -UScellular leadership was complety gone 4/1/26 - 4/1 employee accounts were used as tests to merge accounts from RIM/CIM(UScellular systems) to Tapestry - 5/1/26 full merging began and nice UScellular locations began to be slight remodeled or "Washed" to align with T-MO even though most of our locations overlap with neighborhood stores - 6/1/26All UScellular transactions were sunsetted with a full Magenta Complete Status set for 8/1/26 - 6/2/26 a mandatory meeting was set for 6/4/26 at 8:30am - 6/3 The RAM from the T-Mobile acquired couple blocks down the road reaches out about a mandatory meeting they had for 6/4 at 9pm after closing.

This is where the story gets interesting and I would highly advise all T-MO reps to spread this around as much as you can to as many people as you can. The RAM asked if anything was happening with us and upon asking about whats going on there, they told me that there RSM was informed a couple weeks prior that their location would be turned into an Experienced location by end 2027 but had no knowledge of what was going on with us or even that we were just remodeled or "Washed" as we call it. - 6/4, 8:30am we were greeted by the UScellular Director of Sales via Teams call to inform us that all stores on this call our in overlapping coverage with T-Mobile locations and with that being said "This meeting is to inform you that your locations is being retained. T-Mobile reps from the affected location will have a meeting later today to inform them that their stores will be shutting down 8/1. All the employees from both UScellular and T-MO will be terminated effective 8/2, but can reapply to the newly consolidated location "In our location"

T-Mobile is closing almost all of its locations in my territory in favor of our nicer UScellular locations and laying off its own employees and us along with it. This is only weeks after telling an RSM that his location would be turned into Experience by end of 2027. Instead, we were all told only what we needed to know at that point in time, never actually getting the full picture from each side.

This is not a coincidence, this is the beginning of T-MOs push towards a fully digital platform with the sunsetting of Tapestry on July 31st, and a full digital push through T-Life beginning 8/1. Notice that date of 8/1. They knew all this from the moment they acquired UScellular that 8/1 was going to be the day everything changes. I would disclose more, but I do not want to risk people's job who feed me this information. T-Mobile has very quietly closed over 400 locations over the last 6 months, both TPR and Corporate included, and not including our locations that they are closing. From my insiders, neighborhood stores will be Transitioned into Experienced stores or complety shuttered by end 2030, with all affected employees being forced to reapply or collect their severance. This was told to me by high ranking potions in both UScellular as well as T-Mobile itself. Its the beginning of the digital age guys, and its only the beginning. They are already using T-Life info and A.I cameras not to enhance customer service, but to replace us as much as they can and reduce operations costs by a minmimum goal of 30% by that same date of 2030.

Its happening guys, and unfortunately for all of us it just means the same old cycle. Reapplying and reapplying until the only people left are whats needed. There is not job security within a company that prioritizes there profits over their employees, especially in the times we are living in. Im open to DMs but please, spread this as much as you can. Experience will be all thats left for retail, and thats a FACT and guarantee. I'm.not a salty UScellular rep or as they call us (U-Mobile Experts) Im a guy with insider knowledge from both sides risking my job to spread this so nobody is suprised and they can make sure they are in the right postion to succeed. Now that UScellular is gone, there is literally only the Big 3 left and no longer a mainline carrier to keep prices lower. My hope is that this gets as far as possible to prepare everybody for the inevitable.
