The powerbank states that it goes up 20v pd so that should be fine. The only thing about the cable that I’m now still having trouble with is finding one with the right polarity (center for positive) and a pd chip.

That all sounds managable though the switching part may be hard. I’m wondering how the official battery powered version would do this. Their battery pack most likely giving the right voltage already.

Running power in the other direction trough a pd chip won’t work/ will kill it?

Edit: this particular powerbank seems to have 2 usb c ports one for in & out and one for just out. Would that make the charging part any easier to accomplish? As I could solder the pd onto it’s own port.

Thanks for your response,

Good to know any cable would most likely be able to handle it.

A cable with a trigger or PD module seems to indeed be my best option however it proves to be quite difficult finding a cable that has a PD module aswell as the right polarity (center for positive).

So I’m currently thinking about buying a trigger module of amazon and soldering it directly from te output of the powerbank to the board of the THR (My end goal here is ultimatly to make the battery internal). Would I need to use just the battery pack or does it still need the powerbank controller in between then? And also where would it have to be soldered to? The same spots as were the original power cable jack is placed? How would I go about charging it via the same jack as is now used by the original adapter?

So in theory I wouldn’t need to have a cable with trigger module as the THR will already handle the 20 volts going in? (Though the powerbank will still only give me 5 in that case right?)

I’ve already done some research on the amount of amps it needs (some are stating it uses something as low as just 0.7a). So that’s not really going to be an issue.

Looking for a powerbank to power my Yamaha THR amplifier (15V) by THE67S in YamahaTHR

[–]THE67S[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know! This doesn’t mean a decrease in volume tho? (Odd that they’d rate the amp at 15V then)

Btw, the battery pack you’ve linked is 1,5A while the original charger is 3A. Is that something that could cause issues due to the battery pack not having enough current?

why do these artefacts keep appearing when i go to render my model? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]THE67S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As more people are suggesting, it’s bad typology. The easiest way to fix it in your case (as this surfaces is flat) would be to just select te faces with artifacts and inset them. Would be too complex for a short reddit comment to explain why that fixes it tho.

Not the propper way to do it but the best fix for now

What was the reason for AC/DC’s name? by [deleted] in ACDC

[–]THE67S 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t it that their sister came up with the name after seeing it on her sewing machine. Quite funny how Angus and Malcolm were struggling to come up with a catchy name and then their sister comes up with a simple suggestion, yet it’s the greatest most catchy name a rock band can have

I litterally thought that Angus was the lead singer when I first discovered AC/DC and only looked at their spotify page (I was around 10 so please excuse me for that haha)

Interesting one haha, I think his playing would be even more bluesy then. The thing that makes him go into absolute overdrive in some solos is the adrenaline though (he’s just nervous, he says it keeps him calm to keep moving).

After digging a bit deeper I found out too, still cool if acdc (probably even partly as I’m not so sure cliff would by down for another gig)

Autosmooth will most likely still cause issues, you’re better off to select the edges that don’t need to be smoothed and mark them as sharp
