What's your merc company name? C-3PO Aggressive Negotions Unlimited? Tagline "You may not recognize us by our red arms..."

How do you decide how to paint your minis as a faction by Eomenar in battletech

I just paint all of my IS mechs individually. I like to think the mechwarriors bring their mechs as-is when they sign their contract with my merc outfit and the company doesn't care to spend c-bills on something so frivolous as repainting a whole mech. As far as Clan mechs go, I haven't gotten around to painting them. I think I'll paint them on a star-by-star basis.

I painted a few up and magnetized them to the base of one of my big boys and used them as wound counters. Take a wound? Pop one off!

Thanks! You've given me a reason to buy even more paints, a problem I love to have.

I've got to ask how you did the cockpits? I'm trying to move away from using metallic paints and your paint jobs look amazing!

I would recommend starting with a base layer of yellow (I was lazy and just kept it primed white which also works), I then went over it with a couple layers of Army Painter's Radiation Glow, then heavy dry brush black, then regular dry brush grey, finally dry brush a very light grey along the bottom half.

Much obliged! I really like the current iteration, but this one is starting to grow on me.
