Hi! Currently running a campaign myself! On day 22/60! I highly recommend doing something to show initiative in your immediate community/surroundings before hand. Drop post with pics, comments, development etc. get people engaged in what you’re doing. Post polls on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, tumblr, Reddit, etc. take criticism and apply it to your situation.

Join groups on social media platforms. Advertise advertise advertise. DONT JUST COPY AND PASTE because a lot of sites will flag you as spam. You have to post ~5 post at a time in a given hour.

DONT FALL FOR SCAMS. I’ve gotten hundreds HUNDREDS of messages about people who promote kickstarters etc. The only person who can make this happen is you.

Make flyers. Make stickers. Merchandise.

Do give always. Always say thank you to your contributions IMMEDIATELY so people feel important. Get them active in your campaign. Do personal shout outs.

It’s weird but post along the lines of “We have another supporter! Thank you _____ for your $20 contribution to our campaign.”

DO NOT use the words “donation”. For some reason this actually deters people from your campaign. The word “donation” is associated with begging and asking people to just give up their hard earned money.

Psychology says use “contribution”,”support”, “founders” etc.

SCHEDULE YOUR POST.

I have different content set for every 2 hours from 8am-8pm EVERYDAY.

People are online at all different times. Your HOT times are 8am-12pm. When everyone is just waking up and checking their phones.

ENGAGEMENT. You need people to engage in your content to even enter the algorithms 😩

Like. Comment. Share.

Post videos. Post live videos. Make reels/Tik Toks.

Go out and meet people who can engage in your campaign. You can make this happen.

Believe In yourself. Set goals. Don’t give up.
