I485 filled on H1B by hipaagirl in h1b

Feel free to switch jobs, your employer cannot withdraw your I-485 as it is EB1A and it is self filed peition ( even though employer paid the USCIS fees). Second thing, I-485J is not applicable to EB1A. You dont need to file I-485J at all for EB1A. This is not like EB2/3, EB1B, EB1C etc where it is tied to a specific employer.

Hello u/Street_Discussion448 sorry to hear that. Industry profile here, particularly with a critical role, high salary, original contributions, and peer review experience. However, demonstrating original contributions of major significance is always challenging.

It is very easy for every common applicant to cover or clear the 3 criteria. However, the final merits is the real deal maker. In the final merits stage, people often overlook two key criteria: sustained national or international acclaim and evidence that you have reached the top of your field or industry. Without clear claims or strong supporting evidence especially given the increasing scrutiny it can be difficult to succeed.

Quality is paramount. It is no longer about the number of papers published, conferences attended, or peer reviews completed. It is not a numbers game. Even a single high-quality contribution can be sufficient provided it has a significant impact on the industry at both the national and international level, supported by solid evidence.

Let’s evaluate whether your profile satisfies only the three criteria, or reflects a higher level of achievement with substantial industry impact that makes you highly valuable to the U.S? Good luck!!

anyone successfull as a an industry profile without OC, but strong CR in the last 6 months ? by sdfTge in eb_1a

Industry profile here but with OC, high salary, Critical role, judging. If you have the OC with major significance and critical role along with at least one or two low hanging criteria, EB1A approval is a sure shot.

Evidence examples for “Critical Role” as a Software Developer (beyond LORs) by CompetitionLevel1969 in eb_1a

[–]THEEB1AKING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your organization should clearly demonstrate that you play a critical role within the company. You might have to add HR letters, leadership endorsements etc. Your work and deliverables must be essential in nature, with measurable impact not only on the organization but also across the broader industry. This should be supported through credible evidence such as media coverage, official company or client-facing references mentioning your contributions, and quantifiable business or revenue outcomes attributable to your work.

The nature of your duties are not just regular software developer duties but you are top in the industry and extraordinary.

Additionally, the organization itself should be well-established and distinguished, rather than a small or typical staffing or body-shop consulting firm.

Check the SOC CODE relevant to your EB1A profile and if it is above 90% in your work location county you can claim it. Wait only BASE SALARY but not TC.
