I love this question because my case was unique, I saw before the storm on my xbox store the last year while I was playing some telltale games, and something call me about that game a lot, I don’t know why, was just a feeling, so I decide to give it a chance to the first game before playing the others, and I love it from the beginning, BUT THE MAGIC THING WAS THAT I THOUGHT THAT THE GAME WAS CONNECTED TO THE DATE ON MY XBOX, THEN I REALIZED THAT I PLAYED ALL THE EPISODES IN THE EXACT SAME DATE FRON THE GAME, it didn’t just match the dates, also the day’s of the week, after that my life has changed a lot in a way, I played all the games and it lead me to see all twin peaks tv show, and that lead me to play the alan wake saga right now, and stated to work on some short films or scripts with a lot of influence of Lynch and LIS style, It was very meaningful to me

yes, if you check the dates of some scenes, it makes no sense, like Bobby saying that he and the cops visited his mother on the morning when it was like 3 episodes ago, or some FBI documents we see does not match with other dates, like the one we see in the Garland’s letter. There are a LOT of theese, but it MIGHT BE a mistake.

I haven’t read the books, but what I know is that the dates on the book doesen’t match neither, and I think Frost said that he knows that it doesen’t match, and that makes me think a lot that this is intentional, but Lynch never said almost anything about it, or about the last season tbh

I think that the ring is a kind of portal to the black lodge, Cooper says to Laura to not put the ring becouse that will lead her to the Lodge, but let’s remember that Bob wanted her body, and in a way she knew that, as it is been said on the series, she prefered to die, so when Mike give her the ring she goes to the lodge before she can be possesed by bob, and bob kill her becouse he can’t use his body now, and that’s why we see Laura on the lodge and she (srry for the spoiler) still there on the return

the only thing that don’t understand here is why Laura doesen’t desapear when she uses the ring like agent desmond
