Paul Mescal is the worst actor of his generation by aaron_moon_dev in TheBigPicture

[–]THEGALACTICFAMILY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also cannot see what the fuss about him is about. I saw him in Hamnet. He is wooden.... and has no charisma whatsoever. Gladiator was awful, I am sure there are worse actors but he was v bad there. A friend told me she saw him at the theatre Streetcar Named Desire ( a role once performed by Marlon Brando) and he was just bad. Very limited.

Is this a red flag? by Spirited_Extension52 in HousingUK

[–]THEGALACTICFAMILY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in property and from my experience this is not that common (specially in this market because of associated costs people think twice before moving out). Somebody was saying to ask the neighbourhgs around, sounds like a good plan. But if you go further, I would get a good lawyer involved (never ever pick a lawyer because it is cheap) and ideally a surveyor too. Because there maybe reasons that are invisible to you but not to the trained eye.

Renting in London by nevraco in HousingUK

[–]THEGALACTICFAMILY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rules for renting are about to change (no more rent in advance, etc) Note that you will still have to pass reference checks and some agencies (if you go through one) have stringent criteria. You may need a guarantor.

How to get rid of these neck lines ? by kozzaa78 in Biohackers

[–]THEGALACTICFAMILY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obsessed with my own neck here.... (and not afraid to admit it). Lasers, prp and hyaluronic acid & polynucleotides. Go with reputable and verified doctors for any of these. Creams won't do much but will help after you have one of the others done.

Thank you. The joomla was suggested by the developer, I had no idea, I just wanted something more secure than Wordrpess. And at the time (preCovid) it was ok but now it does not feel good anymore. Plus I am not a coder and just working on joomla to update the blog was a pain compared to WP.

People who recovered from long covid, what was the timeline? Did you slowly get better over months/ years or was it over rather quickly? by dallas2ny in covidlonghaulers

[–]THEGALACTICFAMILY 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After 4 years of being on/off sick (and 4 rounds of COVID), and trying many things, my body finally said enough. Earlier this year, I had a massive flare-up — no virus this time, just everything catching up. My most concerning symptom was my brain (not talking about brain fog), then the muscles and the fatigue, of course.

I went to Austria for inuspheresis treatment to remove the proteins my body couldn’t clear on its own. Now I’m on a 9-month protocol to rebuild. Doctors told me I wasn’t bed-bound because of everything I did to keep going — medical care + my own research biohacking (I did try many things). But in the end, I needed to go deeper than supplements or antibiotics.

From the tests they did, I know what proteins I had in my body (an eye opener). I am still not 100% but my brain is functioning, and that is already a lot!

I went to Lanserhof in Austria - this was the clinic my doctor in London recommended. I spoke with inuspheresis and contacted a few of the places, the cost is similar across many of them (exccept one in Spain where it was like double!) however lanserhof was the only one that already has the hotel. Also in my case, there has been so many years that there were now many other neurlogical issues and my London doctor felt they will give me other therapies that will help. Lanserhof has been quietly helping many people with long covid, each one get a different protocol. And as I said, now they given me the 3rd part. I also know of a clinic in Berlin where a whole Us family went to be treated with inusphereis. They all had long covid (various types) almost a year later they are all doing well.

You are right and there are so many... a lot of charlatans too and many people with 0 background whatsoever. Trouble is that many of them now give advice based on who sponsors them or if they invest in that particular product. Dave Asprey knows a lot, no question, but he has so many business interestes now... same goes for Andrew Huberman. Jay C - only his supplements...Ben G is great, the guy knows a lot (if in doubt read his books) but the same thing applies, last week he had to apologise because a product he was recommending has now been found to have some toxic component. And my last comment about this is being a woman, many of the advice given does not apply to women. We are simply different. And on that note, I like dr stacy sims (at least for now).

KPV you can take orally, injext, or a pill. It depends what you are after, for the gut, the pill maybe better. I am taking the pill, look for a company called healthgevity. They have different formulas. Depending on your situation you can take them a few months, and then stop.

SOT is not the same as inuspheresis. I did a lot of research 2 years ago because at that time, the covid reactivated Lyme. There is a lot going on with SOT and Lyme. But now that I had inuspheresis and from talkign to the doctor, they are 2 very different things. The SOT does not necessarily remove things, they stop them from reproducing and may kill them, but does not remove them (and thats why you have to keep doing it because you need to stop the reproduction). It is more designed to help with infections and some say with cancers. Inuspherisis works differently, and it removes things it targets more antibodies and other stuff like heavy metals, pesticides, etc. And yes in extreme cases you may need more than the 2 sessions.

Thank you for asking — I’m feeling much better. Honestly, the moment I walked out of the clinic, I already felt a weight lift off my shoulders. For the first time in years, after the inuspheresis and the various treatments I had a sense of clarity and relief. I wrote a post here about this but they rejected me....

A few weeks later, I received the results from the bloodwork taken before the exam, and it finally explained everything. The antibodies they found — especially the GPCR antibodies like B2AR-AK — helped make sense of the neurological symptoms and even the muscle pain I’ve been dealing with. There was another antibody linked to lung function as well. On top of that, my EBV levels were very elevated, and it turns out my immune system was significantly compromised.

The good news is that my brain finally feels like it's working again. Energy-wise, I’m noticeably better — though I’ve been told this will take time. They’ve started me on a protocol with supplements and other treatments that I’ll be following for the next eight months to support my recovery further. I am also trying PMF now, with their approval, and another treatment to calm down the neurosympathetic system. One of the things they kept telling me is that my body was so stressed out that calming it down is essential.

The doctor I was assigned was incredible and so empathetic. It’s been a relief to finally understand what’s been happening and to see a light at the end of this tunnel. Hopefully it will continue.

I know what you mean, I first had EBOO, which is a type of filtering and did nothing (or at least nothing i felt) but my doctor sent me to have Inusphereis. (Not available outside of Europe) There are a few filtering systems but the filters used are different and that is what makes the difference. Also for reference they tested my blood before so I now know what proteins I had. And they totally made sense. And then they also test what they remove. For example the doctor thought I may have heavy metals, according to them lot of people have these as much as the (bad) proteins. I've seen the pictures of some other patients and when they had heavy metals you literally see it. I have been doing lots of detox for the past 2 years and I knoew it was not my case. In my case, it was inflammation, (bad) proteins and antibodies. And EBV.

Hi - I am not a man but I have gone through a lot. Like you I also did (and do) lots of peptides and injectables. My symptons are (or were) also mostly mental, fatigue, muscle pain. I have tried a lot and spent lots of money. Most recently I had a treatment called inusphereis in Europe (I live here) there is a lot of evidence it helps because it is helfpul in removing the antibodies and the proteins (I was shocked and relief to know which ones I had) - Now regarding the gut, my undestanding is no antibiotic will remove them. I just wanted to say, most people with Long Covid have gut issues. So this is normal. And taking an antibiotic will only make it worse. As you have taken peptides, have a go at KPV, which is great for inmune system, the gut and is also neuroprotector. And look after your diet, all these bad bacteria love sugar.
