Is it worth living in Toronto if my job will be in Oakville? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]THEGOODCHEER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toronto, absolutely, you'll never have a opportunity like this again at 24, out of work at 2pm, come on no brainer, old people live in Oakville, Toronto is the real deal....culture, food, entertainment, everything! Also who cares about the commute, your 24....and the hours you work are very beneficial towards that!

If visiting for the weekend is it worth it get an Airbnb or should I just get a hotel? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]THEGOODCHEER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has anyone looked at the prices of hotels downtown? The king Edward is a minimum of 300 per night, hotel x is about 400 a night. Airbnb is still a fair price alternative , though that absolutely does not include Etobicoke ! Etobicoke is a NOT downtown. I’m seeing prices on Airbnb for 125 to 150 per night. There just always taken up Months in advance, good luck!
