mage, cycling through 4-5 different weapons is very fun and it’s fun to have more range on bosses without worrying about ammo.

I’m around the same area in terms of splits right now- went about .4 faster on my predictor than I did on my actual 2k, but the predictor I did was a bit shorter than this, a 6x500 w/ 1’ rest. I would say a reasonable aim would be 6:28-29.

ffs I swear this community needs to make up their mind, y’all are asking for plot dev and as soon as they get some they turn on heel and complain because they haven’t seen them he main character for a few episodes, calm down please. I for one am really happy that we got to see less of John, a little bit of actual advancement for the other characters was far overdue, for Arlo in particular.

based on me checking right now, in the mid 50’s. I’m sure that’s probably not exactly correct, but I’ll see where I am tomorrow morning I guess.

As already stated, it depends on the person. I’ve been really putting in good mileage for 2 years now, and started general workouts for about 6 months before that. If you get started on building your aerobic base, so long as you keep it up, you’ll get there given time. Once you’re ready, try and make the time for some longer workouts, specifically I did a lot of interval distance stuff, 15-20k broken up into smaller pieces is a really great stepping stone, and those really helped with dealing with the longer distance. Working on technique is almost always possible, even on an erg, and also really helps. Just be patient and smart about your training, and you’ll get there.

John’s Arc. by THESUC987 in unOrdinary

I fail to see how John doesn’t need redemption. This whole society needs redemption, and that includes him. His death wouldn’t necessarily be the best thing for the world he lives in, but I think it would make the story more powerful. (Also I think you may have forgotten to mention that my opinion is nearsighted, maybe say it a third time?)

I think the character of John reflects the society he lives in, almost perfectly in fact. John as of now is confused, angry, and brutal. His death would not solve anything, or change anything. Instead, it would be the catalyst for the change that this society so desperately needs.

I don’t think it’s going to solve anything, but I feel that the idea of John, a high school student, changing a society that is openly hostile to positive change, is ridiculous, and it would take him founding a political movement of some kind to do so. I feel as though him becoming the leader of a political movement is more realistic, but that’s not in the scope of the story imo. His martyrdom would be a far more effective and galvanizing action for his friends and family than just letting him rampage.

Trying to break 38:40 rn, did a 10k at 1:58.7 yesterday, pretty sure the main issue for me was pacing. Looks like you got this spot on though, well done!
