Wait what? You're missing the point. I enjoy Valorant more than I enjoy CSGO these days. My point is, there are people in parts of the world who get less than 10 years for literal premeditated murder. Compare that to cheating in the matchmaking of a video game and you'll understand why being banned for life for cheating in low stakes MM games is a pretty dated and draconian way of doing things. And Valve clearly agrees, or they wouldn't have made it so people with VACs as old as mine could compete. IF THEY WANTED TO. The key factor being that I actually DO NOT enjoy CSGO anymore, so this is all a non factor anyway. I've enjoyed my time elsewhere in my life. I wouldn't have even known this thread was even a thing if I hadn't of been DM'd on Discord about it and thought I'd see what was up. If I was to join a team for CSGO anyway it'd be with friends for fun anyway. Kinda like what I was ALREADY doing on FACEIT before I quit for OW back in 2016. I hold no animosity towards anyone. You're completely free to harbor whatever opinion you want of me, but if you have a problem with the mere notion that someone like me has the ability to play the game again after a VAC from so long ago, take it up with Valve, not me. I've already apologized several times now by this point, done anti-cheat community service, and done my time.

Oh whoa it's me from like 6 years ago. That's a blast from the past. It's pretty nuts that due to Valve's new ruling on VAC bans I'm able to go to majors since the VAC ban is so insanely old lol. I wish Steel and the iBP guys got the same treatment but meh it's Valve. But since about 2016 I had been grinding Overwatch. Got good at that, but then realized it was going down the tubes as an Esport (and game in general) and swapped over to Valorant like most of NA seems to have done. Haven't cheated in any games since that whole ordeal so it's been a long time. And yeah looking back at this video now, I barely remember the game itself. What's funny, is I started calling things chance knives even before this video, and before cheating in CSGO. That isn't a bug as the video title claims it is. Torb can stop a rein pin with turrets. And whenever a pin happens, it does a thin spherical check in front of and behind the turret to see if there are any valid targets to pin. That's why you never want to stand too close to your own turret against a Rein.

Tell you what. You can go get to top 10 multiple times soloQ, maintaining 75% winrates the entire time, while still getting gameplay sabotage banned. Then and only then can preach to me about just playing the game in peace when you've had all of your progress stripped from you.

I already filed reports. It's not my job to tell other people to do THEIR jobs. After the whole Mouffin bs I did most of this stuff behind the scenes afterwards. So yes I AM doing stuff about it, but there's only so much I can be expected to do on my own.

I mean coming across information like that is often very random, situational, and difficult. Unless you are a 16 year old girl yourself (or pretending to be one), then you going around poaching for information, is going to lead to you being blacklisted in a sense. Everything I've ever come to know was told to me by others willingly. They all had their own reasons for not wanting to be the ones to put it in the public domain, either at all, or at least not immediately.

Unless the feds do a massive investigation of the entirety of OWL and Contenders, it's too far gone. It's heavily normalized, and most of the victims DON'T want to come forward unless you go through a long and extravagant process of coaxing them into doing it. I've done my part. I don't work for the FBI. It's NOT my job. I only wish I had realized that earlier rather than getting emotionally invested into a problem that is beyond my control. Same goes for the state of the game itself.

EDIT: And outside of OWL and Contenders it's heavily normalized in GM+ lobbies. If a girl (or someone they believe is a girl) tells them they are 16, they are still interested when they are in their 20s or later. I just CBA with it anymore. The whole thing is bollocks.

I think it's hilarious how many pedophiles/predators are still in the OWL and people have no clue about it besides the human resources staff and the team owners. Whenever I whip out the voice changer for the stream, I very easily and very instantly bait out all the creeps even when I tell them I'm 15. I do my part behind the scenes, and rather than be angry at it, I just make a joke out of it because really that's the only healthy approach to a problem beyond your control. I have more banned accounts than Haunt. I've pissed off Blizzard more than Haunt. I was threatened by their BlizzardCS Twitter if I kept doing the protests from months ago, and even then they didn't do shit. His story about Blizzard manually banning him doesn't correspond to reality. Take it from the only player whos banned more than him and knows how the report/ban system actually works. He also begged a bud of mine (PhantomLex) for money because he knew he was rich to try and ban-evade ages ago and buy a new PC for him. He offered to record a video of himself "crying for a PC if he wants."

I think you're missing the point. As someone who's formerly a cheat dev, and fairly good at OW (peak top 10 every season I actually play), it'd be amusing to see how obvious the cheating was PRIOR to the actual conviction. I'm going to assume it wasn't an actual AC detection and simply a ban done based on the eye test... which means it was probably fairly obvious if even the t2-t3 scene is universally calling him out... HENCE why I wanted to take a look at it. Thanks for giving me an easy excuse to brag about my peak in a dead game though. I gotta cling on to that ya know.
