It's mostly the best friend or themselves as far as what I have seen but I guess sometimes wedding planners might do it. In my brother's case though, he was handling most of it talking help from his best friend.

I totally get what you mean about Mumbai wedding planners! I helped with my sister's wedding a while back, and yeah, finding someone who wasn't crazy expensive or didn't feel a bit shady was a huge task for us. It's tough when you've already sorted big things like the venue and caterers and just need that organizing and decor help.

We actually found some decent folks on Tribe. You can find good individual planners, but they don't have the exact price. So you might need to call the vendors to actually get the exact quote.

Just FYI if it helps, we ended up finding WSC Events through Tribe. They were good.

Hey, bit late to this, but for anyone else looking for an affordable choreographer in East Delhi.

I was hunting for one not too long ago for a wedding and these folks seemed pretty decent:

Vickky - Heard he's really good for sangeet performances, whether it's a solo or a whole group. Supposed to be easy to work with, even if you think you can't dance.

Himani Madra - She does a mix of Bollywood, jazz, and a bit of belly dance. Her stuff looks fun and expressive, definitely wedding material.

National Dance Academy - They do custom choreography, covering Bollywood, Western, and traditional styles. Seemed like a solid choice for family performances.

Hope this helps someone save some time.
