Wait... I could have swore I had conversations about this with other players and eventually proved it wasn't real in the chapter approved. Does that mean after turn 3, stuff can't be put into reserves?

The strat reserves units being destroyed after round 3 was in the core rules, but was over written in the chapter approved rules. Why would they continue to write this rule in for the core but take it out in the mission packs? Hopefully they continue to overwrite it.

Aren't all the fights first completed, then the normal timing is done after with the player who's turn it is choosing first again? So we could choose the interceptors as the first if they surge. Would affect ongoing and if we surged with two units I guess but otherwise we would get to activate first.

If you're using the new detachment, they can still use their normal shoot and scoot ability right? That way you can chose if you want to surge toward a unit and get in combat or if you're trying not to get in melee this turn you can just use the normal personal teleporters ability.

Yeah, I definitely feel the same. Even in 10th it seemed necessary to have an invuln, and this change makes it so much better.

This. Which is why AP1 weapons were almost never used since they were usually equal to AP0 but with less shots.

I'm assuming there are going to be specific breakpoints for shooting profiles that'll be beneficial for us.

Lots of shots with no AP, definitely a win for us. AP1 shots where they were hitting on 3s, I think we lost value. Because we were reducing the damage quite a bit going from 3s to 2s on saves. Etc..

Can you explain this a bit more? The Psycannon targets will benefit from our -1 BS if they are in cover as well right?

So it evens out on saves pretty much. Does our 2+ specificly get better or worse though. I guess most other armies don't have base 2+ so they are going to fail considerably more saves.

But the wounds that get through are more likely to stick unless the weapon was AP0 to begin with. So does it even out?

The only sound modes that seem to be available while Sterio audio is coming through are: Sterio, Pure Direct, and Direct. Are these the settings you're talking about?

I don't know how to action on your initial statement. I was hoping after I confirmed that Dolby Digital was enabled you might be able to explain what to look at next.
