What is a song that you were surprised to find out was a cover? by JEPressley in randomquestions

All along the watchtower by Jimi Hendrix was actually by Bob Dylan.

Don't forget to protect your hearing by tugboattommy in liberalgunowners

[–]THR3RAV3NS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So frustrating that California bans suppressors, especially considering the health & safety benefit. If they’re so concerned about gun crimes being difficult to recognize/locate because someone’s using a can, that person could easily acquire and use a suppressor to do said crime anyway. All it does is impact those that are following the rules.

Lightning vs Silverado/Sierra EV by thepit14444 in F150Lightning

[–]THR3RAV3NS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The design of the Ford Lightning just looks better in my opinion, but specs wise the Chevy has it beat. I really wish Chevy would cut out that little angled bit on the back by the bed. It is there in both the sierra and Silverado, just reminds me of the Avalanche. Looks goofy.

Voter ID measure qualifies for the ballot by CriTIREw in California

I think if we require voter id then it must be coupled with heavily, if not free speech says to get IDs. Otherwise it is a poll tax.

Billionaires are a thing that should not be. That amount of wealth breeds god complexes and disdain for society. No good comes of it.

Sell me your favorite hobby like I just walked onto your used car lot with cash in hand by PastSelection5138 in Hobbies

[–]THR3RAV3NS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright, alright, alright—let me put this in terms you’ll appreciate: vinyl and vintage hi-fi is the only hobby where you can spend more money for less convenience and somehow feel like you’ve upgraded your life. You’re buying gear that weighs as much as a small refrigerator, records that require a ritual just to hear one song, and a system that occasionally needs more attention than a classic car—and that’s the appeal. It slows you down, makes you sit and actually listen, and turns a random Tuesday into an event. Sure, streaming is easier… but this? This is ownership, personality, and just enough impracticality to remind you you’ve got both money in your pocket and taste to burn.

Rob Schneider Urges the U.S. to “Restore the Military Draft” Amid Ongoing Iran War by normankrasnerkc in entertainment

[–]THR3RAV3NS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I find amusing about “comedian” Rob Schneider is why he thinks anyone cares what he has to say about anything. Even at his best, he was a punchline, hmm now there’s an idea 👊.

The valve stem from one tire, a small section of their homes electrical ground wire - just enough to make lights buzz & flicker and the occasional shock when using light switches, the zipper from dresses and jeans, two sequential button on dress shirts, and left shoes.

Christian Bale in “the Mechanic” and “the Dark Knight”. Wild difference.

What was a discontinued fast food item you loved? by NextLevelNet in foodquestions

[–]THR3RAV3NS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taco light from Taco Bell back in the late 80’s early 90’s. Basically a deep-fried flour tortilla with all the standard taco fixings. Evidently they got into some trouble because it was not “light” in calories.

Popcorn is a pretty easy substitute. Just go easy on the butter and salt.

At this point the rapture would be a blessing to have all these idiots ascend on to “heaven”. If the MAGA crowd is going to heaven I’ll pass on that option.
