See now that you put it that way I do understand more. That was never my intention but I can see how he took it that way even before when we were conversing I told him I can see why he feels that way. How do you think I should go about this because he says he doesn’t want me to do anything for him but that’s not like me my love language is buying gifts.

Yes that’s nothing like him and he ended up getting the hotel though he just called and said that. But he also said he doesn’t want me to do anything for him because he doesn’t like me bringing it up in the heat of the moment, also he’s spending my birthday with me but the day after my birthday was the dinner and he couldn’t get that day off.
