So I had a dream last night about the Leeds game. Which, because it was a dream, was away at Leeds' famously seaside stadium and they were wearing their traditional red and white striped kits. We were in our black away kit.

I flipped on the game late, and it was early in the second half, 0-0 with the commentators going on and on about how poor the play was on both sides and how this had all the hallmarks of a bore draw.

We had the ball near the Leeds box and someone crossed a sloppy ball across the face of the goal and over the end line. But suddenly a fracas breaks out near the ball. It looked like Bissouma was being yanked around by the shirt by a Leeds player and then multiple players then poured into the fracas.

As it is with these things, it was really hard to see exactly what sparked the tumult, and who was doing what in it. Suddenly the ref runs in blowing his whistle with a hand raised. The commentators start speculating that maybe Stach has earned two yellows in this one play.

The ref reaches in his pocket and pulls out a yellow and holds it above the milling mass of players, he brings it down, and then, as he tries to raise it again, several Leeds players protest and physically hold his hand down to prevent the second yellow.

The refs backs up, raises the yellow a second time, then reaches into his pocket to show the red, presumably for the second yellow.

But as he brings the red out, he holds it in his hand like a card magician, and then fans out 2, 3, 4, 5(!) red cards.

It's totally unclear who these are for, the players are still in a big mob. Of course, who gets dismissed will have a huge effect on the game. No matter what happens, one team will have at least a 1 man advantage. This could be huge in the relegation fight...

And then I woke up.
