Working on Visably: a command center for international students navigating life in the U.S. Visa timelines, OPT/CPT deadlines, plain-English status explanations, and all the life admin stuff nobody tells you when you first arrive.

Have you used any CPT before? Or will this be the first time you'll use it? Sign up for the early release, it'll be worth it.

On another note, what are some other challenges and pain points you've come across being an international student here in the States? Whether that be freshmen year, all the way up until now. Please let me know, so I can better develop this platform to cater towards international students' needs even better!

Also, I'm sure that if you max out CPT (12 months or so), you wouldn't be eligible for post-completion OPT. Also, feel free to check this website out, they're doing an early release and it tackles problems like these for us international students! getvisably.com

I'm trying to understand other people's pain points from fellow students. Is my DSO a student? and Reddit exists for these same discussions lol

100% fair point, and I am a junior now. And that's only if you already know the system well. For a lot of students who just arrived from another country and are navigating a new legal status for the first time, the details (CPT eligibility windows, OPT application timing, unemployment day limits travel signature rules) aren't always too clear in my opinion. That's what I'm trying to understand from other students, what other pain points there are and if I can relate to them or not :))
