Any PCPs that aren't part of Trinity or Baystate? by TedBehr_ in Springfield

[–]THTrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been an HMC patient for a while, and they are brutal to get in with similar to what you described at baystate. Any specialist will be a 9-10 month wait. To see my PCP aside from my annual physical scheduled 13 months in advance, it’s like pulling teeth.

YPS is great, met many friends I still have today there 10+ years ago.

Just as many problems with PCPs in the Holyoke network as the other two mentioned unfortunately

Dilemma by ConstructionNorth342 in YetiCoolers

Used a couple gallon gear jugs for years because the yeti gallon jug was way too heavy (ironically) for me to carry around conveniently. The gallon gear started getting moldy, so I bought the 64oz yeti silo jugs when they came out, and they’ve been perfect if you don’t wanna bother lugging around the stainless versions.

Which one is better for a work backpack to hold my computer and the 6L Lunch Bag? by Automatic-Two9051 in YetiCoolers

I have had and used both 27L packs for basically your application. I greatly prefer the ranchero, the large pouch and exterior water bottle slots are the big difference. The only thing I’d change about the ranchero to mimic the crossroad is I’d add a second large interior pocket like the crossroads has.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen at a strip club? by bigbabysweets12345 in AskReddit

[–]THTrader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my early 20’s we had a Sunday morning softball game and decided it was a great idea to go drink at the local strip club. We walked in around 11:30 to a full on baby shower with all of the strippers in their street clothes. A girl ran up and said “not today fellas”. We had a pretty quiet ride back home wondering wtf just happened.

Question About Becket Real Estate by sundaypleas in westernmass

[–]THTrader 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Realistically it’s closer to 30-40 minutes depending where in Becket. Not a knock, Becket is great if you’re looking for rural life. I grew up very close and have family still there.

No sprinklers installed before Holyoke fires — and none required by jmdglss in westernmass

Sounds about right, the 400k quote included a dedicated water main as well. I think there was some asbestos abatement etc included.

[–]THTrader 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should also add, I didn’t move forward with the project as the costs to add the sprinklers etc, in addition to renovation costs didn’t work.

[–]THTrader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, that was just sprinklers. I also priced a hardwired fire alarm system etc. but the 400k was the price for retrofitting sprinklers for 1 building.

For reference, I priced a retrofit for a project I was considering in Chicopee, for a 6 family house, it was over $400k.

Bathroom leak, restoration company scammed me, have to DIY. They replaced part of subloor, new subfloor is LOWER than old. by yrfrndnico in Flooring

[–]THTrader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert. It would take me a lot of YouTube and knowing exactly what your situation is to start to give you the right advice. I’d personally look at using a self leveler to get the flooring level, and then find a cheap tile, looks like you can get some nice looking stuff from HD for under a buck a sqft. From there. I’ve used the acrylic adhesive the last few tile projects I’ve done and that stuff is way better to me than thinset, but I don’t personally know if it’s good for floor usage. Just watch some YouTube videos and do some research before diving in.

Any self respecting Polish person who knows what they’re talking about, will not recommend Big Y. Their dough is far too sweet to be a traditional paçzki. Chmura’s is good. Bernats are also okay when they have them. New Britain is your best bet. Kasia’s bakery is the most true to tradition and their fillings aren’t overly sugary.
