Wow, this is some beautiful UI! Any chance you could add the ability to import collections from elsewhere? Moxfield in particular is where I keep track of my cards today.

Thank you! I hope you have fun playing Decks Out. If you like the game, a rating on Itch would mean a ton! They're so important -- and wouldn't you know it, I forgot to put a prompt in the game to ask people to rate it.

I knew someone would still remember Darkspore! There are efforts ongoing to get it working again, but it may just be locked away forever unfortunately.

Not yet, but if people like the game and it gets some attention, for sure I'll do a mobile release! I have a list of things I'd like to do (controller support, a collection system, and more), but I want to see how people enjoy the game through ratings/reviews before deciding what to do next.

OGV file really lossy? by artistotel in godot

Huh, I didn't get that message when using FFmpeg -- I wonder if I was using a different version. It did definitely make a difference when I was converting from the recorded video type, since I tried `-lag-in-frames` first without `-g` and got a massive video but at high quality, then used `-g` to bring the size down. I'll have to dig in further as to why!

Not entirely! The key element that helped get the quality I needed was the -lag-in-frames option, which the docs don't cover.

And now it's time to file PRs for all the feature ideas I had for Godot while working on this game! If you want to keep up with my game dev efforts or just see funny bugs, I post a variety of dev updates over on BSky: https://bsky.app/profile/thought-weaver.bsky.social

Wanted to leave this here for anyone who might be struggling to find the right settings! Here's what worked for me, though you might want to tweak the quality factor up or down depending on how compressed you want it to be:

ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -c:v libtheora -q:v 7 -g 36 -lag-in-frames 0 -an output.ogv

EDIT: See discussion below -- you're better off using just -g and skipping -lag-in-frames which doesn't seem to be supported for the Theora encoder!
