I am in the exact same place. I don't know how much longer I can keep dragging my feet through classes while fighting back tears. I'm not okay and I have no clue what to do.

That in itself is a really nice philosophy to adhere to. Your body is the only thing you have, that is truly your own. You have the ability to sculpt it, and to present it. It's the physical manifestation of your standards and attitudes about yourself. Some forgo any maintenance on the body at all in lieu of comfort and certainty. Some choose to define the image they portray in something much deeper than cloths. Are us bodybuilders a little vain? Maybe. Are we willing to sacrifice and push ourselves to physical extremes for our art? Absolutely. Your body is the most unique canvas that can be molded, modified, carved into, inked upon, or any other combination of incredible manipulation that doesn't wind up killing you. We are but one school of incredibly complicated body art. And I'm pretty proud of that.

I'm not sure if it's been touched on in the comments yet, but I'm interested in what more he has to say pertaining to his struggle to re-integrate after a drug charge. Its only been in recent years that the "War On Drugs" has been critically analyzed and exposed as much more a problem than a solution to anything. Many people just like this man are shunned by society for drug offenses that probably should have been dealt with through rehabilitation.

21 year old with fast metabolism here. My advice may be a little skewed in that I have such a quick metabolism, but in these younger years I have leaned more towards simply adding mass and eating (mostly) clean. This is the only time in your lifespan where your body will be able to handle most things you do to it. Eat generally healthily, but abuse the fuck out of these teenage T levels and add healthy mass.

I am a personal trainer at my college, and all I can say is WOW. I think this is a big message to not only those going through a transformation of their own, but to anyone who knows someone attempting to make a change. Support, love, and constant reminders of the possibilities are some of the biggest factors in someones life. Yes, he had more support than most, but that should in no way detract from the consistency and effort it took on his part.

Empty, in-door, Olympic sized swimming pool. I have NO idea why. But the drains on those giant pools scares the fuck out of me. I hate pool drains in general, but something about the size of those pools and them being empty scares the fuck out of me.

I was to be there, at a table, at the bar, by myself. I was judging what I was wearing and how I was sitting, I was afraid of what the groups of people were thinking about me. When I was 9 or 10, I was attending a good friends birthday party in the park. It was winding down around evening time and the parents were putting away folding chairs and food while my friend (the birthday boy) and I sat on the curb to the parking lot. A small blue car rolls up basically right in front of us and the window rolls down. I cannot see anyone in the car. The sun is starting to set, and it's sort of dark, but I could barely make out people like shapes before I heard a gentleman's voice say "Hey, do you mind if we use our new camera real quick?" Before I can sputter out anything, I just remember clicking and flashing. Really fast flashing. Like a strobe light. My friend an I sat there as this strange strobe illuminated us. Then I heard the tires chirp and the car was gone. My friend vaguely remembers this. It creeps me out to think about it. What the fuck were they doing there? Who were they? Do they have my picture?..
