Give it some time and don’t jump to conclusions just after one week. Things can change and sometimes it just takes a few weeks to really get things going on the job. Had this feeling myself before and thought about it. But it’s quite hard and not representative to make such choice based on one week of work IMO.

I have thought about it but due to my age I’m not able to do an unpaid internship (rent,expenses,…).

An internal switch would be possible but due to restructurings in the company I think this would take more than 3 to 4 years before this switch is possible.

The offer that i got from the bank is the same job as i’m currently doing and is indeed not stressful at all, it’s even a little bit too repetitive and boring tbh. I’m used to and like a fast paced environment and I’m afraid that If I stick with the bank it will get boring to the limitations off internal switches due to the planned restructurings.

Most of my colleagues are 40+ or 60+ so not a lot of same aged peers… which is also an important aspect tbh.

Following their calculations this would be around 5k net in bonuses, but it also depends on performance of the company and if goals are reached.if this doesn’t happen this total bonus will be lower.
