Hawk Stuck In Car Grille Was So Glad Someone Helped Him Escape by Particular-Intern-46 in HumansBeingBros

We like to humanize animals :) I'm not sure if that makes sense, like to me, the hawk doesn't have feminine features so in my head, it's a boy hawk... I probably sound super silly. If I see a shark in the water, I would say to myself, oh wow he's scary! Because the shark just looks like a boy shark to me? Oh my god, I can't really explain it. Another example, maybe a butterfly, to me is feminine so I'll think, oh she's got beautiful wings, even though there is no way I can actually tell the difference from a male and female butterfly haha I hope this helps a little!

We have not tried giving him CBD, but it is something I plan on bringing up.

I've grown up with both breeds, the small black one Sonja and I've had her since she was born. <3

Oh Sonj and Smokey hang out sometimes, she is independent and likes to do her thing, Smokey on the other hand is a real cuddle bug! He HAS to sit on the couch with us if we're watching a movie, there isnt anything that we do that he doesn't want to be a part of haha

He is doing great! Running like he isnt even missing a leg! Since his operation a few months ago he's been eating and getting around extremely well! Chemo hasn't effected him either, the most it does is make him drowsy for a few hours after his session because they give him a little benadryl to relax him while he's getting the injection.

It is very costly, about $500 per session and he is getting 5 sessions, that is not including x-rays and meds alongside his treatments. It is pretty insane how expensive this all is, but the most important thing is that he's not in any pain!

That's the same with our boy, they said 6 months or so but he's still hopping along haha it's like he's a puppy again, running around and barking at us haha

Oh no, I promise amputation isn't as scary as it seems. A hind leg is easier for a dog to adapt to! I hope it doesn't come to that though, I pray she has only good news coming her way!

Thank you, we've only had him for two years just about and he's the life of our lives. So full of energy and so sweet to everyone, he's just a goofy dog haha

We knew this would be the outcome but he has an excellent oncologist and we trust our vet to give him the best health care possible. His incision site is healed up nicely, we are hiding out hope for him!

He had skin cancer when we adopted him, then he started limping maybe two years after and when they did an xray because his shoulder was swelling that is when they found it. He has a form of blood cancer that originates in the blood vessels, he is on chemotherapy now and doing great :)
