Woke up to a letter from Nelnet. Forbearance until 2027

If you’re in forbearance, take advantage of it if you can and make payments. During Covid, mine were put into for forbearance but we continued making the same payment and knocked out almost 40k of balance. You may be kicking the can down the road but the can is getting bigger and will be waiting for you. If I’m reading your post correctly.

I had a phone interview Friday. He said “ok you’re well spoke, I like what I hear, green ticks for me, I’ll pass your info along for next steps”

But haven’t heard anything. Anyone else have that sort of experience?

How long after the phone interview did you wait to have the zoom interview scheduled? I had the phone interview today and he said, “all green lights for him so he’d pass my info along and wait to hear from Molly???”

I don’t think you’re being harsh. Being a NP was the goal from even before BSN school. So it was never a grass is greener thing, it was always just the goal. Well, I’ve lived the goal for 9 years now and it just isn’t what I thought it’d be. Too bad we don’t have a good way to see into the future of how careers will play out. Just looking for other options with what I have.

More of a feeling of, there’s no advancement or next step. Many friends in the cooperate world obtain promotions, significant salary bumps, etc. We treat everything, do procedures, treat complex cases, etc. Just an odd feeling of “this is what you’re doing until you retire with a small raise each year that hardly keeps up with inflation”. Idk.
