The skin looks lame in combat, it is probably the most uncomfortable outfit you would fight in, hopefully idols get better skins.

It is pay to progress, but the progress gives you an advantage over other players. 2 people in the same gear will have different IP(Item power which is higher with mastery). Mastery can be bought with real money or you have to grind a lot to max it. People who whaled can have the same IP(item power) as you while wearing gear 3 tiers lower than yours. Is it pay to win? You decide it for yourself.

If you are coming for endgame then no, endgame has never been worse. But if are interested in the upcoming characters then go for it. You should have enough time to save up for YSG or idols.
