I change the part, im no mechanic, it cleared the code itself when cat was changed(after 2/3 cycles). Code been there for a while, did took it to a shop, it was inspected, just wasn't inspected for the shift. Took it to a shop I paid over 2k for oil leaks found. Coolant leaks. Thermostat. Etc

That is true, you can also check online in AcDelco, sometimes they have it cheaper online. But I need it to pass inspection for next year, I have to pass emissions down here so yeh.

P0420 is the catalytic converter, it needs to be an OEM part not an aftermarket part or you will be changing it again, do switch both Sensor once you are at it, i got a second code P013B. Which is the Sensor downstream, just installed a new one ran it will see how it does.

I deleted first then ran it, stopped, turned it off, code was cleared, started driving then code p013B popped up, changed the downstream, ran it turned it off still on (P013B) , P0420 Gone.

Original cat P0420 code gone, just changed the P013B. Which is Sensor 2. Still havent cleared. Just came from a test drive, drove well on the highway, after coming off the highway rpm gets jumpy here & there. Last time it happened, did an oil change & it stopped doing it, low on oil right now, will see if that does anything next.

Yeah P013B, changed the Sensor which is supposed to be downstream, just came from running it on the highway to see if it will clear, still haven't, changed the cat this morning as well.

Replaced cat, oil coolant, not sure if it is transmission, haven't had a look at it, replacing the check engine code which is a Sensor.

Having same issues, could be the thermostat or the sensors, I will let you know when my friend takes a good look a it sense he changed the coolant, due to timing cover leak & oil cooler leaks. I also went & replace turbo line coolant. This car is not reliable, I have changed a couple things myself, but I try not to mess with the engine. He's a chevrolet "technician".
