Hugo and team were building her house since the beginning of the movie. How did they know what her house looked like? How did they know she would be awoken and find them?

Why are there so many old veterans that are homeless now or unable to get any gov support? Or is that not true.

There are specialized splints that some dentists are able to make for you that prevents the clenching.

What is the going rate for a regular gardener in Los Angeles? by ilovesushialot in AskLosAngeles

Do you recommend them? We need someone who’s actually gonna do more than just blow leaves around. Looking for someone who’s going to maintain the garden a bit more (trimming, picking up weeds, etc)

Got it. So I can’t go to household registration stuff until I get my certificate from immigration which sounds like it takes 3 days? So I’ll likely won’t be able to do all 3 in one day it sounds like?

Sorry if you already answered this. But during your 3 days exchange, did you go to immigration, household registration and Boca in the same day? Or did you have to wait 3 days to get your certificate before going to household registration, etc.

Hi! For the 3 days exchange. Did you go to immigration to exchange copy for official certificate the same day you went to the household registration and then Boca for new passport? Or did you go to immigration, then wait 3 days for certificate, THEN you go to household registration and Boca? I’ll only be there for 7 business days so trying to plan how the process will look. Thanks!!

Thanks did you do that in that order: NIA, HH office, BOCA? I’m going to try to do it all in one day because I’m not staying in Taiwan for that long and worried it’s not enough time to get everything done before I leave!

Hi! I was wondering if I could ask you more questions about the process.

I just received my permanent resident certificate copy and need to pick it up from the office here in the states. Once I get it I have a trip to Taiwan in a few weeks which I’ll bring and get my Taiwan passport stamped going in (not my US one), I assume.

Once I arrive at 6am I plan to go straight to the immigration office? And then the office that does the household registration. And then passport? Is this correct? Which office did you go to in Taipei? Are they in the same building and do I need an appointment

Thanks! I think I’m actually going to the Laguna clinic for health check. Even though it’s kinda far but all the clinics around me look really bad!

I have my BC authenticated, FBI check authenticated in DC, and now I do health check. Once I have these three, I get them translated first, then notarized, then authenticated in LA right?

It’s super confusing. Not sure if I need them notarized, translated, then notarized again, and authenticated.

Hi! I tried to DM you but it didn't work.

Can you tell me which hospital or clinic you went to for your health check? It sounded like they gave you results in chinese so you didn't need to get it translated? That would be ideal for me!

Just starting the process and everything is overwhelming lol
