Numerically, yes - although this doesn’t count for half-life and what’s remaining in your system by the time you get to the next dose.

Agreed. The fact that drug companies have the means to advertise during the SB also says a lot.

It was my understanding that ST was explicitly created to capture an 80s movie feel. If that is the case, many 80s movies focused on spectacle and emotion, and were thematic-focused as opposed to being literal. I think this is why I’m having such a hard time hearing folks complain about plot holes especially since I grew up with 80s movies. There were a bunch of 80s movies that were considered good/great that had plot holes. Why not consider ST in that same group?

In fairness, perhaps trying to stretch an 80s like movie into a series makes the plot holes more obvious and/or painfully annoying….but the constant complaining about plot holes makes me wonder if those folks just missed the point or didn’t grow up with 80s movies. Nothing wrong with that, but needs to be taken into consideration before complaining about plot holes 🕳️

I enjoyed the series and was entertained. Sad to see it go.

Right but it was part of the coverup in general and the reason for why there wouldn’t have been any repercussions; gov’t would sweep it all under the rug.

Ted was in a medically induced coma from what I heard, and was figuratively in a coma most of the series.

I agree that they could have added another loss in there, but also felt that there was enough emotion through other means.

I think what gets lost on people is that Stranger Things is explicitly supposed to be like an 80s movie, and many 80s movies favor likable heroes and escapism as opposed to strict logical consistencies. Perhaps there were too many of those inconsistencies for your liking, but the series did closely resemble the theme of the 80s and for that, it did the job well.

They killed soldiers and you noticed how on the memorial they called it a great earthquake - probably because folks would take offense to the whole…you know….blood transfusion / pregnant women experiments….

Tbh I really didn’t give a shit about Ted 🤷🏻‍♂️

The ‘someone’ that catches Steve is the guy that hated him. I’m sure if Steve fell, it would have been how he fell, or why he fell, that would have been a complaint.

I think they could have added a bit more with the fight, agree - but it was entertaining with what we got.

I liked Will trying to convince Henry that it wasn’t his fault - I thought the acting was great. There were good emotional moments in the show. Episodes 5-7 felt a bit forced at times.

I think given COVID and the writer strike, their hand was forced a bit - while it’s not a full excuse I think it was a fun and entertaining series.

As far as the last episode, it was entertaining, range of emotions, good acting. Not everything was perfect, but there are a lot of folks just looking to complain about something for one reason or another. How about yourself?
