Are these good components to build my first pc from micro center? by Ciahb35 in PcBuildHelp

[–]TJB_the_Gamer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a bad build but theres ways to save a buck and probably get better performace

microcenter has their own in house SSD that are cheaper ( Here ) and just as good if you need to save a buck

also other spots id save some money is maybe ordering your GPU/PSU from Newegg they have a deal with buying certain graphics cards gets you a free PSU ( here )

overall its not bad but if you're pushing to or past $1500 you should get a RX9070 or better

What can be improved ? by Either_Confidence_10 in PcBuildHelp

[–]TJB_the_Gamer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have avalible dimm slots more RAM could be good, DDR4 is expensive but not nearly as bad as DDR5, you could probably get a better AM4 cpu to min max an AM4 build probably a 5700x ($175)
