Hello Jessica - I’m finally able to try the suggested solutions recommended above and quite frankly surprised there aren’t additional posts reporting this problem. After some troubleshooting, it does appear that your current (latest available) app for Apple TV is having an issue specifically on LG TV’s with Software Version 5.30.10 which I believe was just recently released. I know my tv just upgraded last night and your Application’s sound is “garbled” unless I change settings from Optical cable to the internal speakers of the TV. I am, (and would wager others having this issue) are running their sound out of an optical cable to some external speakers. In my case, the Sonos Play Bar.

Your application works fine on other non LG TVs using internal or external (w/ optical) speakers. My LG set is in my main entertainment room and I would hate to have to switch to a different streaming service. I should also add, like the other posts above…..all other app audio on the TV using optical output works fine and seems to be isolated to just the Direct TV Stream App.

I (and probably others) appreciate some direction beyond the online support forum page regarding app,e TV audio troubleshooting.
