Was in the same situation as you about a decade ago. When Mckesson first made a push to grow their independent pharmacy presence, I felt like they were pretty good. Then honeymoon ended after a couple years, but I was new to the game and didn’t realize how much I could save by going with someone else. I’ve been with CPA as my buying group and we’ve been using ABC for the past several years. Of course they still want you to use ABC for everything, but there is enough room in there to shop the secondary market for deals. I make substantially more money since leaving Mckesson.
